Fantastic word game

I'll probably have to duck into the grocery store after work and work my way around all the fools who keep asking for stuff that will now be out of stock for months.

Today's store had zero toilet paper (full side of an aisle completely wiped out of toilet paper over the weekend because people are hoarding it in case of quarantine); bleach; wipes; Lysol sprays; rubbing alcohol; hand sanitizer; and maybe a couple of other things.

Welcome to Page 3823. Just 6,177 pages to go in our Quest To 10,000 Pages. :)

For months now, those of us living in the northeast have been dealing with the cold and dreariness of winter but thankfully with each new day we move closer and closer to the arrival of spring.

Without sports to watch on tv, specifically baseball, I'll be left to watch the lovely young library interns do their thing with Miss Silkie.

Their thing with Miss Silkie is to provide essential functions and services in their work area and their accomplishments shouldn't be diminished by some lech who wants to make it a gawk fest.

Some lech who wants to make it a gawkfest is inexcusable and we will do our very best to find out who that is and expel that person from all PowerWorld related functions.

Sorry for my absence. In the real world, I'm working a couple of overnights at the grocery stores that I service so as to avoid the stupidity and foolishness of the crowds. And maybe to potentially avoid catching something from one of those stupid people.

All PowerWorld related functions have been cancelled for the immediate future due to the current coronavirus world pandemic and all PW associates, including dmargalotti, our International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as I prefer) have been brought home and restricted from travelling.

For now, dmargalotti will rely on video teleconferencing with potential cities. However, as nothing beats actually being there, he will resume his international visits once it is deemed safe to do so.

PowerWorld University (PU as most prefer) has cancelled all classes and will move to online learning starting Monday until further notice and possibly the rest of the semester. All buildings, while already santized ever day, will receive a deep cleaning starting this weekend.

And, finally, the 80s Rockfest at Illusions has been cancelled for tonight. As Illusions is also receiving a deep cleaning, kenny and Dave and I will do an 80s Rockfest livestream from the main campus via PowerWorld Radio. A smaller intimate gathering at Denny's for breakfast is still on.

Have a safe weekend!!

Restricted from travelling, all associates will assist in keeping all PowerWorld campuses and buildings clean and santized for the protection of everyone.

Spicy stuff doesn't agree with me which makes me kind of a plain vanilla kind of guy although I'd much prefer to eat chocolate chip flavored ice cream rather than plain vanilla ice cream.

All year long, for many years now (13 of them), I've come here to help create the bestest word/writing game in the history of the interwebs and, thankfully, we still have a core crew to keep that moving along every day.

This thread is a great place to be during these difficult times as long as we are maintaining a 6 foot distance between us while we are posting.

I'm also staying 6 feet away from each lovely young library intern because it's the right thing to do.

While we are posting our contributions to the Fantastic Word Game, we're doing our best to keep others and ourselves healthy by practicing "social distancing" and staying in as much as possible.
