Fantastic word game

If whatever you're wishing for doesn't occur, maybe you weren't following the advice of Walt Disney to wish upon a star.

Cotton belt, my contributions are not limited to just mornings. Plus, as a member of the executive team here, I'm not eligible to earn overtime pay. As for obtaining one of those fancy titles, that's at the discretion of the Game Czar, but before he can bestow any title on you, you will need to complete the screening process and undergo a thorough background check.
 
"End this lockdown", "My body, my choice", and "Fire Fauci", are just a few of the chants currently being heard by participants in the numerous protests against stay at home orders around the country.

I didn't see anything on the application about a background check. I'll have to be up front with you; I have bad credit. Defaulted on my black American Express, and Discover has been sending me demand letters for payment since 2004. The stress has led me to some minor drug use. Nothing serious, but the weird little yellow pill did give me some pretty far out flashbacks. If you drug screen, kindly give me 24 hours notice so I can call a friend for clean pee.
 
Stay at home orders around the country will hopefully be relaxed just a bit pretty soon because I need to go to sunny Florida to see the bikini babes.

Sadly, my Florida vacation next week is cancelled. While they are opening up a bit down that way, I won't be going until September. So if I seem a little more irritable than usual lately, it's not you guys, it's because of that.

Cotton belt, those snazzy titles some of us have are earned through hard work and long and meritorious service to TFWG. I have been here since Day 1 (you can check Page 1 of this game to see me there). That's 13 1/2 years of my life dedicated to this game. Of course, I appointed myself Game Czar after no one objected but that's beside the point. Other than that, everyone else was appointed their titles after some lengthy service and then discussed and voted on by the rest of us. Check with me in about 5 years or so. We might have something for you. :)
 
The bikini babes in Florida are great, but personally, I would rather stay in Texas and snuggle up close to a good old fashioned cowgirl, decked out in tight fitting jeans, and a pair of Justin boots.

13 1/2 years??? I'm unsure whether I should applaud your efforts, or be concerned for your sanity. My word, faithful Game Czar, that's a lot of time vested in an online game. Even the lovely Olivia Newton-John would have a hard time keeping my interest for that long.

Whenever large groups can reconvene for the 80s Rockfest, I will express my deepest, heartfelt regret to the lovely Olivia Newton-John (TLONJ, as some prefer) for my earlier unsavory commentary.

No disrespect intended towards TLONJ, however, as an old cowboy from ETX, I'm more of a OVDTW (Once Very Desirable Tammy Wynette) kind of man. Happy Mother's Day to any moms here at TFWG.
 
My earlier unsavory commentary about people not returning books to their proper place in the band camp library earned the respect and admiration of Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns.
 
Miss Silkie and the lovely young interns appear to be been missing from The Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG, as WMC2006 prefers) for the last several days, and rumor has it that they were last seen in the company of Head of Safety and Security (HOSS, as many prefer) scanman and his team.

Good morning TFWG team. I'm making a rare early in the day appearance here but, don't worry, I'm not taking over the Early Morning Contributions. :) In real life, in my retail world job, I transitioned to working late nights and overnights about 6 weeks or so ago so as to stay away from potentially sick people and such. Plus, I don't need to wear a mask when the stores are closed. And it's much easier to get things done when there are no customers around. Did I just say that out loud? I didn't think so. :D

What's good for all of us would be a long, gruesome, excruciating death to come upon every single so-called human being who spreads or believes crackpot conspiracy theories about this pandemic involving everyone from Bill Gates to Barack Obama to a sinister cabal of international bankers.
 
Bankers plus alot of other people including myself think CTListener just pulled TFWG up a couple of notches by using the word cabal.

Someone has been reading his Thesauras this morning. :D
 
In the 70's and 80's, I was just a young whippersnapper toiling away in my childhood with visions of Game Czarring dancing in my head.

I guess I should have checked my dickshinerry on the spelling of 'thesaurus'. :D Thank you for correcting me in front of the whole class, CT. :)
 
My head is spinning after reading WMC2006's usage of the ancient term whippersnapper.

Let's hope that this is not the genesis of a cattywampus, nor cockeyed, series of posts. I would just hate to see that kind of rigamarole get started.
