Fantastic word game

Dealing with alcoholism and its impact on so many others than just the alcoholic is a can of worms indeed, and appears to be a subject that few want to tackle considering the time stamp on the previous post.
 
The previous post referenced something that was darker than subjects I'd like to see here so I chose to allow someone else to follow up so we could talk about more lighthearted fare such as the weather, topless driving, the 80s Rockfest and band camp.

Band camp posts, along with those about weather, topless driving and the 80s Rockfest, are sometimes so similar to past posts that the repetition drives me to drink.

But hey, I'm still a newbie here, relatively speaking, so don't mind my grouchiness.

CT, you've been around awhile now, we don't consider you a newbie. Just ask the lovely young library interns. They consider you one of the regulars.
 
This hike around band camp brings with us a new contributor named Marcos who we welcome with open arms.

Marcos, welcome to the Fantastic Word Game, otherwise known very affectionately by just about everyone as TFWG. We've been around a long time and we expect to be around for even longer. As you've already done, please begin your contribution with the bolded ending clue from the previous contribution. Please bold your new ending contribution. If you are unable to bold, we will accept CAPITAL LETTERS. We encourage all newbies to peruse the archives of our little game which numbers 1,987 pages under the current format. Not that long ago, before Radio Discussions updated its server, we had twice that number (due to there being 10 responses per page as opposed to the current 20 responses per page). Hot posts such as the one posted by WMC are words considered by the fun department to be taken with a grain of salt, of necessity, but they used to move us along a little bit faster to the next page as they take up room for at least 2,416 posts per day.
 
Words need to form one complete sentence, Marcos, and what you've given us is two sentences instead.

Marcos, you get a grace period as a newbie so it's ok but your contribution is really two sentences. That kind of thing makes my Game Czar head explode and I can tell you that the lovely young library interns really hate cleaning up exploded head.

Instead of publicly chastising the new guy it might be better to treat him to a Grand Slam breakfast at Denny's so he can meet the gang and get familiar with the rules of the game.
