Fantastic word game

When people don't adhere to the rules, a security guard will sometimes rudely bark at them for making a mistake instead of politely reminding them that they're breaking a rule or two while still disallowing them to continue their prohibited actions.

Luckily for the folks I encountered, I always took the polite but firm stance.

Actions speak louder than words but they also generate an equal reaction according the laws of action and reaction by Sir Isaac Newton, whom as far was we know, is not related to Olivia Newton-John, Juice Newton, or former FCC Chairman Newton Minow.

Olivia Newton-John, Juice Newton, or former FCC Chairman Newton Minow probably do not have anything in common with a Fig Newton.

A hidden mystery, according to our old friend Stuart Greenberg, is how I have survived for so long as Game Czar since I was never actually elected to the position.

Oh that Stuart. Such a nice guy but he put just a little too much thought into some of this stuff. I hope to see him again in another 12 years when he will last 2 months and then disappear again. We should take a road trip to North Carolina to visit him. :)

An oxymoron walked over to me and called me a moron for forgetting to bold my ending clue in my last contribution so I want to publicly thank HOSS scanman for moving us right along without making a scene.

Thanks, buddy, 'preciate it. ;)

A scene from my favorite Christmas movie involves the dad of the family receiving a "major award" that he incorrectly assumes came from Italy because it say "Fra-gee-lay" (fragile) on the outside of the shipping crate.

The recipient of said award was the envy of all of the neighborhood men who admired it because, "He won that, it was a major award.".

What the heck. It was mentioned twice as "a major award", by two different people, so who was I to let it stand at one?

For everyone to see what we've done here at the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I, all Game Czars, and I'm pretty sure all Directors of Fun prefer), we ask that you peruse any or all of the 1,989 pages of our little game and please remember that , before the recent Radio Discussions software/programming updates that changed the number of responses per page, we used to have nearly 4,000 pages.

I'm looking forward to reaching Page 2,000.

Come on down to the new Illusions tonight for a rockin' great time with kenny, Dave and myself. Have a great weekend.

4,000 pages sounds like a lot of pages but it's really not when you factor in all of the fun we've had along the way.

Our destination will not be final until and unless the internet or Radio Discussions breaks down completely.

Which would be horrible. We tried that once before when these boards were part of something else. We tried launching TFWG2 over on Radio Insight and it failed horribly. By now, it's undoubtedly buried in internet dirt and can stay there.
