Be true: It is better than the frustration of people confusing their opinion with absolute truth, which is frequent.
 
Frequent contributions such as this last one from ZantennaG1 want to make my Game Czar head explode because I really don't think it's a sentence but perhaps in some corners of the world it might be a sentence so I'd like to ask the rest of the team what they think.

dmargalotti, Miss Silkie, scanman, CT: what are your thoughts? Does Z's contribution qualify as a sentence? By the way, ZantennaG1, I think I'm calling you Z from now on if that's ok with you.

Hey hey hey!!!! Tomorrow is the big day. As I write this, our 15th anniversary is just 30 minutes away!!!
 
They think it's too difficult to join us but it's easy as 1-2-3 to write a well constructed complete sentence.

15 years of fun at The Fantastic Word Game, of which I've been a part of about a half dozen, have seen many worse offenses than Zantenna's, but I'm afraid I will have to hit the buzzer on that one, as the colon after "true" was improperly used and should have been a period to denote a full stop.

Aircraft makes one excited, but to be awestruck, you should see the thunderbirds.
 
Thunderbirds were once a car of choice from the mid 1950s into the early 1960s, and by the way, it was sort of a sentence and sort of maybe the punctuation might have made the difference between a mind blowing ellipse and ... er ... something else, so maybe we can just move along from the past since it is our anniversary.

I know, I know, everybody everywhere has a little piece of the pie until they finish their assignments, but that is not our problem. We'll get to know each of them another day, though prolly not at the same time. Whatever. All in good time.
 
Crystal Gayle is known for having really really really long hair and singing about brown and blue eyes.

So it blows my mind that this little game has existed for 15 years through Radio-Info, RadioInfo, and Radio Discussions. And I've been here since Day 1. I was 40 years old when this game started. Remember that time when the boards (or the entire site) were shut down for awhile (before the forums were split from the website or something or other) and we attempted to start TFWG2 over at Radio Insight? That didn't go so well. A dark period in TFWG's history. And, remember that whole kerfluffle with SKenJenningsSomethingSomething? Another dark period. And when Stuart's buddy, TheDude, came back that time, pretended to participate, and tried to shut the place down? And how about when Stuart left. Then came back. Then left again. Is he back yet, I can't recall. ;) Man, we've been through alot here.
 
Family members visit the band campers during Family Weekend when the whole family can participate together in various activities.

The mechanical bull is not one of them.

However, the mechanical bull will be available tonight at the new Illusions as kenny, Dave and I kick off another new 80s Rockfest.
 
Various activities around town was what I had planned to do with TheDude during my year long Man Crush.

Man Crush twins TheDude and Stuart G were quite the couple around PowerWorld Town until Ms Phyllis caught wind of it and TheDude subsequently, mysteriously, and permanently (we think) disappeared.

Dateline NBC has been all over the case for years.
 
Our beloved word game has been through heck and back a couple of times but it and some of us have persevered through it all and are ready to continue giving it another 15 years, God willing and Radio Discussions willing.

One might have thought that one of our beloved admins/moderators, perhaps David or Frank Berry, might have visited us with a hearty congratulations. Of course, we hope that they would adhere to the one sentence rule using the previous bolded ending clue as their new beginning clue. But I guess they have other more important things to do. :)
