Cringe away from any sentence starting with the word 'cringe' because it's pretty difficult to come up with anything worthwhile but we'll get the boys in the lab to work on it.

I'm sure Darth won't mind if I borrow Bruce and Robin for a bit.

You got the memo about Bruce's two-week notice today, did you? I don't have an immediate replacement lined up, so tomorrow I shall be on the horn with Reno to see if he's willing to transfer back out here from Pendleton for a few weeks as I screen and interview candidates....... or if he's willing to uproot from there and replace Bruce full time. I'd prefer to do the process myself if that's possible, since I want to be somewhat discriminating and hire somebody I can be sure is able to fully comprehend all of orwanet's various nuances and eccentricities.

Known for my meticulous attention to Miss Manners, my invitation to WMC's birthday bash provided neither date nor time, so I have arrived fashionably late - by four days - with the special gift of an ellipse.

The exploding head is the lingering hangover. I'm sure.
 
With the special gift of an ellipse, I profoundly thank Miss Silkie for her fashionably late entrance to my birthday bash which was well attended by on-time interns as well as all contributors and Executive Board members.

Somehow I knew that if I mentioned Bruce and Robin that our good friend Darth (oldradiotapes) would saunter in. Yes, I received the memo about Bruce's notice after my last contribution. Do what you can to keep him. I really don't want to lose him. Having said that, it's all in your hands regarding replacing him. I'm not familiar with this Reno individual and, as Game Czar, I'm familiar with everyone. Who is he? We may have to have a little get-to-know-ya meeting in my Game Czar office. Is everything good with Robin? I don't want him disappearing too!
 
Our HR Director is an unknown to me as I do not recognize the terminology, so we in the library shall have to meet and introduce the term "personnel" into the conversation.

HR Director, aka Personnel Director? We have one? Who is he or she? When did this happen? Why didn't I know about it? Asking for a friend.
