My 15 years here at TFWG will be worthy of a celebration.

A celebration of our nation's 250th anniversary will happen in 2026.

In 2026, I will have only four more years until I retire.

I retire at the end of the day hoping to get a good nights' sleep, but these days it doesn't happen all that often.

Often, I wonder how we come up with some of the challenging clues that we use to play Fantastic Word Game.

The challenging clues that we use to play Fantastic Word Game sometimes prove too challenging for most of our regular players, as was the case with Stuart's contribution of the cryptic "Joe Dirt."

"Joe Dirt" is a movie that I would not watch even if it was the only movie available to view on a desert island.

On a desert island, one can entertain themself by drawing pictures in the sand.

Drawing pictures in the sand was one of many ways the castaways tried to get off the island in the television show "Gilligan's Island", but I prefer to draw pictures in the dirt.

In the dirt, I got all muddy and messy so I went down to the coast to wash off in the water.

In the water is where a ship can provide fun and entertainment.

Fun and entertainment are the responsibility of the Fun Department which is overseen by our very own Miss Silkie.

Our very own Miss Silkie creates conditions conducive to having some good times and fun under the situation and circumstance, borrowing from a mantra of Theodore Roosevelt to do what she can, with what she has, where she is, which are the tools of the trade.

The tools of the trade for long-term (T)FWG success include a sense of humor, a sense of the absurd and a willingness to put up with in-jokes, mentions of other posters, and similar self-referential twaddle.

Similar self-referential twaddle is not what we are all about but then again maybe we are.

We can think about while we are enjoying the best in 80s Rock tomorrow night at the new Illusions. See ya there!

After dinner, while the ladies are cleaning up, doing the dishes, and swooning over Bobby Sherman, maybe the men can retire to the library and enjoy a Gurkha Black Dragon Cigar?
