Fantastic word game

Mix it up too much with the interns and you will receive a strong rebuke from Miss Silkie who keeps everything and everyone in order.

Out in the boondocks, people wear bib overalls and brew moonshine, have at least one rusted old car up on blocks in the yard, talk really slow and think even slower, and are generally suspicious of city folks.

And for good reason!

Madcap antics are happening in band camp because Miss Silkie has made an appearance.

Oh hey there Miss Silkie. How's things going over there at Tasty Tidbits?

Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick are a couple of mallard babes often seen with Paul Drake.

Hey there, WMC. We are in the lounge deciding whether Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick the celebrities were named after the ducks or the other way around.

Always welcomed to visit band camp anytime are our regulars, Olivia Newton-John and Megan McCormick.
John Travolta has left the chat. ;)

Paul drake played as lawyer Perry Mason, not to be confused with the inspector Perry the platypus.

Why would I even know that last bit of info? My inner innocence is showing :p

Perry the platypus is not a character with whom I am familiar, although Paul Drake was Perry Mason's private investigator.
@Silkie It's a kids show that ended in 2014-ish, but whenever I drive anywhere (to the grocery store or the park in particular), you have today's kids taking about it as if it aired yesterday. Aha! So it's their fault that I know about that show, LOL. 🤣 Perry Mason's private ivestigator has never dated Della Street, despite being known as the wolf.

The wolf is going to be coming after Stuart who skipped over the last clue posted 10 minutes earlier by ZantennaG1, and you don't need to hire a famed TV private detective like Jim Rockford to figure that out.

Thanks, I didn't even notice that Stuart skipped my clue! It looks like on my post, the paragraph wouldn't split properly, so it looks pretty confusing. Sorry about that.

Figure that out by digging up the evidence and stitching it together.

Stitching it together, I think that all this talk about The Lovely Olivia (TLO as I prefer) and The Lovely Megan (TLM as dmargalotti prefers) is what caused the minor snafu up above.

Then again, it could have been Stuart's inattention. I'm just not sure.

Up above, I did not realize there was a pre-sentence comment before the clue.

I never saw the pre-comment sentence before the "game sentence". Usually, the comments go under the sentence. Z-Man had everything in his post. There was a talk if a platypus, a quote from Silkie, the misleading pre- sentence comments, and not to mention Joe Denardo's (WTAE-4 Pittsburgh) forecast.

Z-Man's box had so many things included, it reminded me when the Hudson Brothers would cram into one square on the "Hollywood Squares" and people would pretend not to notice.
