Fantastic word game

Parties are fun to attend.

DID WMC MAKE AN ERROR????????????? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE????? MAYBE HE IS HUMAN????
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A WHILE, I AM SPEECHLESS!!!!! SOMEBODY FORM A COMMITTEE, THIS MUST BE INVESTIGATED!!!!!!!!!!

Attend the meeting to vote on the punishment, suspension (that is punishment) or replacing "TFWG Czar", aka WMC

I AM NO LONGER SPEECHLESS, AFTER YEARS OF WMC POINTING OUT EVERY ERROR I HAVE MADE FROM COMMAS, TO SEMICOLONS (I CHECKED, IT IS ONE WORLD) TO SPELLINGS ERRORS, THIS IS A DAY TO BE REMEMBERED IN "TFWG" HISTORY ("THE DUDE" MUST BE TRACKED DOWN AND NOTIFIED!!!!! (I VOLUNTEER FOR THIS IF IT INVOLVES AN OCEAN, SANDY PRIVATE BEACH, THICK SUNTAN LOTION, AND HANDCUFFS). SOMEHOW, I HAVE LOST MY TREND OF THOUGHT, ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS MUSCLES AND HANDCUFFS!!

WMC is in fact human and has made plenty of errors along the way.

Allow me to point out yet again that I have been here since Day 1 (Dec 3, 2006) and I have received my fair share of time outs, demerits and repercussions. I will take my demerits for missing by bolding in my last contribution. And, Stuart, I have not been pointing out every error of yours for years because you've never stayed around long enough for that. Months, definitely. :) And, Stuart, allow me to point out in your little diatribe up there that semicolon may be one word but it is not one 'world' and spelling errors are spelling errors and not 'spellings' errors. If you'd like, we can send you on an international band camp expedition with dmargalotti and he can leave you on a sandy beach somewhere. :D

Along the way, I still may have some deep rooted issues to deal with.

And, Stuart, allow me to point out in your little diatribe up there that semicolon may be one word but it is not one 'world' and spelling errors are spelling errors and not 'spellings' errors.
To be honest, there is not really much to say here. Now I know why WMC is the Game Czar. Viva WMC!!
I am going to slink off to bed now. Everybody have a good night, for tomorrow is a new day. 🙃

Woods will be cold and rainy over the next day or so in your Game Czar's neighborhood which is why he is very much looking forward to that next Florida vacation just 13 days from now.

Ridership has been down on mass transit due to the pandemic.

🚌 🚂 😷
Pandemic concerns actually shut down my city's bus line for two years and counting.

True story, by the way. C'mon Cheyenne, get with the program already! Also, it's a double edged sword for mass transit in the US: People in blue states are more afraid of Covid, so they don't ride the bus. People in red states don't really like these national mandates, including bus drivers, so my city seemingly quit the program for now. On top of that, I don't think my bus system had that many riders, as is the case in medium/small cities, which made it a quick target for shutdown.

This thread may be the only thing holding the button on the sleeve.

To piggy back on Z-Man's thoughts...

When we were allowed, We flew four times over the pandemic. I felt very comfortable and safe. Phyllis and I went to Florida three times and I flew to Nashville once. The planes were just about empty. When we flew to Destin/Ft. Walton I still remember their were 66 people going and 72 people coming back (on Delta, the only approved airline of Stuart and Phyllis). Were there problems, of course. When we went to Orlando, a brief 45 minute layover in Atlanta turned out to be about 4 hours. We kept getting emails telling us the flight number was changing, times were changing. My favorite email told us we were being upgraded to first class. We met many people who had to come to Atlanta due to a change in their flights and times. Lines were really short if any (staff shortages). It was sort of a Kumbaya moment. I led the people in 3 of the gates to a rousing rendition of "Michael Row The Boat to Ashore"

The sleeve of Stuart's shirt was all wet with drool following his latest "Dude and handcuffs" announcement at the top of the page.

Well, 12 days away from my flight to sunny Florida and airline and mask mandates have been dropped. Normally, I'd be jumping with joy just as Stuart is when he thinks of TheDude but I just don't know. I'm thinking that, on the airplane anyway, it may still be best to wear the mask given we are basically sitting in cramped conditions with a couple hundred other people breathing everyone's air and stuff. In the airport itself, I can see being unmasked but in the plane? I just don't know. What would YOU do??
