Fantastic word game

To me, the weather has been pretty terrific down here in southwest Florida where I've been able to work on my tan and recruit new lovely young library interns for the next class.

Gosh, those recruits seem to get younger and younger every year.

The next class is Philosophy 205, which I mentioned in this thread a couple of years ago was the most boring class I took in college, so I think I'll skip it today and hope the professor doesn't decide to give a surprise quiz.

The lifeguard is a perfect candidate to join the next class of lovely young library interns so I gave to her Miss Silkie's contact information.

Last full day here in sunny Florida. Unfortunately, my allergies hit me bad the last 48 hours so I was quite miserable. Just to be on the safe side, I did in fact get COVID-tested and I was negative. The good news is that I discovered lots of candidates for the next several classes of lovely young library interns. dmargalotti remains in charge through Sunday. I will be back in my Game Czar office Monday morning.

The Walmart men's room found Stuart cruising, but context is not important so I just pointed the way to information sought.

I will not pursue that line further at this time, Stuart, because I was able to make use of it. Don't take license with me.

Hidden from me earlier in the day was JetBlue's plan to get all of us home a few hours after we were scheduled.

I'm kidding of course but here's what happened. We left not so sunny Ft. Myers, Florida about 45 minutes late due to lightning (and a brief monsoon) in the area. Got to what was supposed to be a relatively brief stopover at JFK/New York. Our original plane was not there but they found another one at another gate which they had to tow over. Our pilots were not there yet but were on their way from piloting in from elsewhere. We were also waiting on flight attendants who had to be called in. All eventually got there. While waiting to taxi, there was some kind of maintenance issue that delayed us. We finally left about 2 hours late. Once we landed in Worcester, MA, there was a half hour delay because they couldn't get the door open to let us out (which was perhaps the maintenance issue from earlier, they didn't say). So they had to find a set of stairs and someone to bring it to the plane (keeping in mind it was now 2am-ish) to get us off from the back door of the plane. Now, you would think that during that half hour waiting to offload everyone that they would have been able to offload the luggage and it would have been waiting for us. Nope! We then had to wait ANOTHER 25 minutes for that to finally come through. Got home about 3am. Good times!!

I'm back in my Game Czar office tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for behaving. :)

We were scheduled to review Stuart's awkward and inappropriate reference to Miss Silkie but now that The Game Czar (TGC) is returning to the office, we can let him handle the matter.

Handle the matter of lousy airline treatment by taking the auto train from Boston.

The other matter seems to have been handled discreetly and conveniently at the same time by the PowerWorld board.

The auto train from Boston makes a stop in Charlotte, North Carolina.

My comment (about Miss Silkie) may have been on the "edgy" side, however there was no malice, disrespect, or any other type of nefarious behavior involved. The comment was supposed to be (back in the day) we had this word "funny". I will refrain from those kind of sentences in the future. My mea culpa is already on the way to Miss Silkie. (I am pretty sure Miss Silkie understood the sentence in the way it was presented)
Stuffed animals, pillows, blankets, warm milk, cookies etc... will be available in the Library Foyer.

Charlotte, North Carolina authorities are making Stuart write "I will never say anything like that ever again" 100,000 times (in honor of our Quest To 100,000 Posts) in different colors of chalk on a blackboard in the center of town.

Which will be broadcast live by all the local television, radio and streaming stations.

Stuart, I trust you've learned your lesson. Mr. Allen would not be pleased.
