The Mandela Effect befits Ronstadt in an ironic sort of way, since she was one of several prominent artists to ignore anti-apartheid voices and play the South African resort of Sun City.

Sun City is not an official nickname for the sunny state of Florida but it might as well be.

CT, no worries, you are much too important to us to be fired for what could be your first infraction and a pretty minor infraction at that. Now, if you do it again, we will have to tar and feather you in the middle of band camp.

Keeping things in order here in my Game Czar office regarding the band camp summer session which will start the week after next.

We usually have band camper move-in over the Memorial Day weekend. However, this year, we are doing that a week later. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help with that.

The week after next Miss Phyllis will be home after camping in The Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia.

The Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia are probably a great place to visit but I haven't seen them featured yet on my favorite travel show, Places To Love with Samantha Brown.

Places To Love with Samantha Brown seems to have taken the place of Globe Trekker with Meghan McCormick, but then I have never watched either of them.

Either of them probably offers some excellent scenery along with some travel tips.

I write this because yesterday I was listening to "Road Trip Radio" on Sirius station 105. A young lady named Silkie called and said she was driving to Oklahoma and requested to hear "9 to 5".
