Fantastic word game

The office is where "Scanman" needs to report for a lecture from WMC because my words were not "The PowerWorld Sports Bar", but simply the letter "I".

🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

It's OK SandMan buddy, WMC lives for this kind of stuff. Just nod and say "yes" to everything he says. The worst that will happen is you have to serve humble pie at the next Band Camp function 😵‍💫

Your team-mates in the Fun Department all worked together to make a fun as well as educational event of the Independence Day celebrations.

Independence Day celebrations in this country involve food, family, and fireworks which are three of my favorite things.

Scanman was right to ignore Stuart's ending clue since it came at the end of a multi-sentence contribution. Stuart, what gives buddy?

My Favorite things include going to the K&W Cafeteria.

🍽️😋🚙

I just read Coming soon....."I Was A Teenage Penny Opera Performer"
This was not part of the sentence. I was referencing when "they" say the movie series has concluded, somebody always decides to make one more.

It's OK SandMan........ no one noticed this error!

The K&W Cafeteria is where Stuart might want to review the rules for playing this game properly.

This:

Guys, did you hear Veronica is no longer dating Archie? now Betty is dating him. (this sounds like a "Match Game" Question)

👫😘👩‍❤️‍👨

And especially this:

The PowerWorld Sports Bar will be the best the gaming industry has seen. We will have to advertise all over the country. People will come from all over the country to see it. Our advertising motto will be "If you build it they will come". I think we should have a soft opening to get the bugs of the system, then we will have the Grand Opening! The ribbon should be cut by "Thedude". I bet you thought I forgot about him. How could I?
🍻🏅💃

Neither of these are proper one-sentence contributions and will usually end up ignored when posted. We have our set-in-stone rules here and no one gets to arbitrarily change them as they see fit.

Seriously, Stuart, you really seem to be going off the rails.

What gives?

As dmargalotti mentioned, it was perfectly acceptable for scanman (stop calling him Sandman please) to ignore your contribution that was multiple sentences. It also would have been perfectly acceptable for Miss Silkie to ignore your contribution from Post #41626 because you altered the previous ending clue as your beginning clue. As you know, because you just asked a question about this a few days ago, that is not permitted.

Honestly, I am not going off the rails, I am simply trying to have some fun. Let's start unpacking this. With regards to the altering of the word "team" I have seen people alter the words.
I just read Coming soon....."I Was A Teenage Penny Opera Performer"
This was not part of the sentence. I was referencing when "they" say the movie series has concluded, somebody always decides to make one more. I did not have the intent to make that part of the sentence, which I wrote it in red. In reference to the "Archie" sentence, again the words in between the ( ) were not part of the sentence, just a comment. As I was writing I could hear Gene Rayburn saying "Guys,do you now Veronica is no longer dating Archie?", now Archie is dating (blank).

The writing of he 5 sentences was definitely a joke. I was having some fun with WMC's criticisms of my sentences. Finally, "The Sandman" reference way not a joke, it was an error. I decided to return some humor back into the game. Maybe the game has gone along too long? Maybe it is time to end it? Maybe we should say post number "post number 45,000 will be the last one?. A few joking sentences should not have been discussed this long. I will try and post generic, plain sentences until we can bring this game back to life and make it fun again,

The rails of the trains serving the cities of Salem, Marblehead, Peabody, and Danvers Massachusetts are in need of repair.

Moving on...

In need of repair are many of the viaducts carrying rail traffic in my neck of the woods.

Nah, the game must go on. Onward and upward to post 100,000!

The woods in Marblehead no longer resound with the noise of the locomotive, so that "In need of repair" sign should be replaced by "gone for good" when it comes to passenger or commuter rail service in that town, whose residents have long had to drive or take a bus to neighboring Swampscott to catch a train.

Always glad to represent the North Shore here!

Stuart, the Archie contribution was multi-sentence even when you ignore the parenthesized words. And the essay on the fictional sports bar was nothing more than a violation of the rules of this game. That's not having fun to me or, I'm sure, Scanman, WMC, or anyone else who enjoys playing this game. We were all having fun until you started having your idiosyncratic, anarchic "fun." This game can be, and is, both fun and funny within its rules.
