Fantastic word game

Flooding my inbox with compliments will not help with getting choice volunteer assignments over Labor Day weekend but flooding Miss Silkie's inbox with compliments might very well get you some extra tasty tidbits.

Some people as a language term could denote a group of people or a certain person, depending upon its usage.

Our memories are sharp and intact, including very short term as I thought how relieved I am that the burden of reporting sad news about the death of Olivia Newton-John did not fall to me as dmargalotti's post came rolling in, followed up by CTListener's post, so we wait for a devastated WMC to show up.

We wait for a devastated WMC to show up and here I am, definitely devastated and still in shock, since learning this tragic news.

However, I can't help but think that our heavenly friend, the lovely Anyacat, was waiting for OIivia at the Pearly Gates, with open arms, to welcome her in Anyacat's own unique way (perhaps with some travel and energy tips) to that great PowerWorld band camp in the sky. My feelings are that we should now, out of respect, retire The Lovely Olivia, The Lovely Olivia Newton-John, The Lovely ON-J, TLO and TLON-J. But I'd like to hear some feedback on that from all of you. Rest in peace Olivia Newton-John.

A word game such as ours should find an appropriate way to pay tribute to Olivia, and then our best to keep her memory alive for future generations.

I don't think it's necessary to completely end our references to Ms. Newton-John, although the context of future references will certainly be different. We might want to form a committee to evaluate our options so they can come back to the full board with a recommendation.

We kept music alive from our era for them to enjoy, and chances are that some kids in the future will still appreciate the sound and quality of a well-made stereo receiver and turntable.
