Fantastic word game

Adjusted for vacations and the Labor Day holiday, the work schedule for most of our PowerWorld associates has returned to normal.

Game Czar-ing (or Czaring, as I prefer) is all fun and games until the Game Bolsheviks take power and have you and your family taken to St. Petersburg for execution.

Execution of my duties and responsibilities (or Game Czarring--with 2 r's--as I prefer) is overseen by the PowerWorld LLC Board of Governors.

Much of my schedule is solid except for when someone decides to 'retire' from TFWG but then decides to un-retire a week later. Not that I would be referring to anyone here of course. ;)

Gosh, CT, sounds a tad extreme. Is everything ok in the CT household?

Everyone can observe the Board of Governors meetings on their Youtube channel which has been active for about 6 weeks.

The BOGs are not exactly the most technically savvy bunch. They tend to drive Darth and the boys in the IT lab just a bit bonkers.

New England is a tad chillier this weekend than what we've experienced over the last few months but, not to worry, because as we say here in these parts, "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute".

Sunny and 85 degrees now, snow and 25 degrees in an hour. :D

Happy Weekend everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the 80s Rockfest either in person or via the big PW livestream. In a few hours, kenny will be cooking up some great grub at Denny's. Join us for a Grand Slamwich or three.

Proper hygiene in the early days of the COVID pandemic included wearing gloves when touching most surfaces, until one day the scientists decided that wearing gloves was unnecessary.

Simple procedures are often made more complicated and confusing than they need to be by people and entities who feel the need to justify their own existence and ridiculous compensation.

People and entities who feel the need to justify their own existence and ridiculous compensation have no business being at PowerWorld.

Being at PowerWorld was a dream of mine as a skinny, unpopular kid who mistakenly thought that, with a name like that, PowerWorld was not a band camp but a state-of-the-art gym run by Charles Atlas where I could build a body that would be the envy of everyone on the beach and would allow me to prove to bullies that I was no longer a 97-pound weakling.

A 97-pound weakling may not be able to fight off the bullies in high school but there's a good chance that he will go on own a company that will someday employ those bullies whose brain power and intellect did not match their muscle mass.
