Fantastic word game

As we studied for the test together, we eventually started studying each other which eventually led us to becoming Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Greenberg.

<b>Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Greenberg</b> wanted their wedding announcement and photo published in the Sunday paper, but the society editor was appalled and said <b>no</b>.

<i>I continue to have inexplicable problems with boldfacing and italicizing. What I have written above displays to me with HTML markup codes on it rather than the text showing in boldface, and this note appears the same way, with bracketed i's and slash-i's instead of italicized text. How are they displaying for all of you? And can anyone explain why this is happening? I have not changed any settings, nor would I even know where such settings would be.</i>

No problems with boldfacing or italicizing occuring on my end.

All I can figure is your browser might need updating. My Chromebook, running version 106.0.5249.112 of the OS, is having zero problems accessing this site and all of its functionality.

End of the line for CT's computer as it has taken on a mind of its own and should just be thrown in the trash.

Are you clicking on the B for bold and the I for italics within the text box? That's what I do.

Breaktime, unlike springtime and summertime, is usually written as two words.

Mystery solved! I'd apparently hit the "toggle BB code" control in the tool bar above this box at some point, a control I didn't even know existed. Boldface and italics now displaying normally.

The old Dukes of Hazzard TV show was known for daisy dukes, Daisy Duke, the General Lee, Bo and Luke, and Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane.

Plus a really catchy theme song. Just the Good Ole Boys:
