Shut up is a very rude thing to say to someone according to the words of wisdom handed down to me when I was young from my grandmother.

My grandmother on my father's side always had a bowl of Hershey's Kisses and miniature bars waiting for me when I visited, while my maternal grandmother did her part to accelerate my adult-onset diabetes with her delicious, ultra-sugary brownies.

Rules aren't enforced from time to time, at least in the case of needed dental relief, as a matter of kindly discretion.

Especially when a certain perpetrator displays such a good bit of kicking himself for the unintentional infraction. Not mentioning the Game Czar, since he also was denied goodies from the lounge as part of his rehabilitation from the fun department.

As a matter of kindly discretion, I do appreciate that discretion so that ne'er do wells wouldn't see me entering that dental office and think that band camp was under no management for that period of time.

Very beneficial donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items are desperately needed for our Thanksgiving food drive.

Our Thanksgiving food drive is by car, approximately five miles to the supermarket, not far from the usual destination of our Christmas food drive: a Chinese restaurant.

The meal can be enjoyable for all if everyone leaves enough food for everyone else.

And by 'everyone else', I mean me.
