Fantastic word game

A barber by the name of Mr. Malone, used to cut my hair when I was young at his shop where a bunch of retired guys hung out all day, smoking cigars, reading the newspaper, and arguing sports and politics while trying to solve all the worlds' problems.

I don't miss having hair, but I do miss spending time listening to the banter in the barbershop.

One world without the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as all Game Czars and the occasional International Director of Band Camp prefer) is a world I don't want to be in.

Well it's Friday so, unless you are snowbound in Buffalo, join us tomorrow night at the new Illusions for the 80s Rockfest. If you ARE snowbound in Buffalo, join us on the big PowerWorld livestream. Have a great weekend!

The people would like to know about a few things you did in Vegas, Stuart.

Aside from losing Miss Phyllis, I mean. You already told us that.

Stuart and Miss Phyllis really just had a typical good time in Las Vegas. 🎲

Not that much happened in Las Vegas, we had a good time, however there were some setbacks. The Rich Little show was cancelled all week. Penn and Teller were also cancelled (Teller sick). Barry Manilow was pretty much sold out. We saw "The Blue Man Group", and "Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson". We did visit some hotels including "The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace". We really liked the new "Fashon Mall" which was literally located right across the street from our hotel, "Trump International".

"Trump International" was extremely nice and the staff treated us very well including 25th Anniversary gifts. Phyllis and I are going to go back. "Trump" is only a hotel, which we knew. It was very
boring and quiet. Next time we are going to stay at one of the "big" hotels on the strip, the ones with the day drinking pool parties!!!, which cater to us 'Millennials"

Then there were the mid-term elections. I will just say, "that stayed in Las Vegas"!

In Las Vegas, you can see showgirls (including, according to my sources, a former lovely young intern or two), slot machines, celebrities, and plenty of topless driving.

Stuart, why was Rich Little cancelled all week? Not enough interest? Maybe he was sick? That'd be understandable as he is about 105 at this point.

My regular outdoor activities include waiting for the cold months to go back inside again. ☃️

Rich Little just turned 83 years old. The Tropicana or his "camp" did not provide a reason. He only performs 4 shows a week at 6:30pm. My thinking was tickets were not selling well for the week, so they may have cancelled his shows so he could maybe work a few more during the buys Thanksgiving Holiday.

I just scored two tickets for Barry Manilow in Charlotte!!! (Who is 79 and still going!!!!)

Your dwelling can be any size and any shape and in any part of the world so long as dmargalotti can have the option of staying there during his international travels.

Barry Manilow is 79??? Holy Copacabana, Batman!!

His international travels have taken Barry Manilow to many countries as he's performed for millions of adoring fans around the world who are always delighted to hear him sing "I Write the Songs".

"I Write the Songs", but since there is only one theme this time of the year, for a whole month, they might really mean something different depending on the date, the album, the artist, photographs, and so much more.

What I didn't pick up while out shopping and scavenging, Sweetie Pie did. Happy holidays.

Only on K-Tel Records can you get all the biggest mellow rock hits of the '70s, by the original artists, for the amazingly low price of $7.99 plus shipping and handling.

Looking Glass! Player! Dan Fogelberg! Rita Coolidge! And many more!

Illegal charges these days include pandemic charges, Covid charges, booster charges, international band camp charges, mechanical bull charges, and Game-Czar-interviewing-potential-lovely-young-library-interns-while-in-Florida charges.

For those of you who will be volunteering Thursday morning at the Band Camp Thanksgiving Day Homeless For The Holidays Meal (BCTDHFTHM as most prefer), thank you and please find your duties posted outside my office and also on your PowerWorld intranet.
