Santa Claus was the topic in a few feel good churches here and there, where visitors were taken aback by the central figure chosen for a Christmas Eve sermon discussing saints.
Discussing saints and sinners while scaring listeners into donations is something I hear crackpot fire-and-brimstone preachers do on far too many stations on the AM band.
WMC must not have seen either my entry ending with Santa Claus or Miss Silkie's ending with discussing saints, so I'm continuing from the latter.
Something else must have happened because I somehow missed 2 contributions and I'm usually (well, ok, sometimes) right on top of things so I extend my heartfelt apologies to the group and commend CT for getting us to where we need to be.
The English rock band, The Cure, must have recorded a bunch of songs, but not being a big fan of '90s rock, I can name only one of them, "Friday I'm In Love."
We get to enjoy the 80's Rockfest every weekend at the new Illusions with kenny, Dave and myself spinning the tunes you loved and still love.
And speaking of the 80s Rockfest (thanks scanman!), join us tomorrow night either in person or via the big PowerWorld livestream. Then join us later on at Denny's as kenny cooks up some terrific grub. Yum! Have a great weekend!!
