Fantastic word game

On borrowed time, I need to get this contribution in now as Friday will soon be turning to Saturday.

And as CT well knows, that means it's time for another great 80s Rockfest tomorrow night at the new Illusions. Right CT? So join us in person or via the big PowerWorld livestream for a rockin' good time. And, later on, kenny serves up some delicious grub at Denny's.

rosecitymedia (can I call you rose?) you are doing a fine job. Just make sure (it's a small rule I forgot to mention) that you do not alter a clue in any way. Not sure why but you said there was a double post or something earlier so you combined and sent us on our way. That'd be fine although I don't see any issues from earlier. Can you point it out to me?

Game Czar, it appears the contributor (I believe it was Scanman) directly above my submission had posted a mere one minute after yours, according to the time stamp. I, then, made my submission a couple minutes after that, combining the two end clues. Apparently, the post directly above mine was edited to correct the gaffe, and done so in a time allotment that allowed the edit to occur without documentation of the edit. On my next visit, I noticed the edited submission too, but another submission had already been played off of my end clue, so there was no way to resubmit mine without throwing the game into inexcusable turmoil. Please excuse the hiccup on my part. Rose would be just fine with me.

rose, thanks for that convoluted answer. Took no time at all for you to experience the occasional perils of Radio Discussions. Couple years ago, we had a period of time where stuff wasn't there but it was supposed to be and eventually it was but not when it was supposed to be. Know what I mean?
 
"TheDude" (not "The Dude") started this game, then left for a long time, then came back but couldn't adjust to the slight changes we had made in the interim which led to him trying to get the game shut down and then he realized he was a buffoon and left again for the good of humanity.

And Stuart has a thing for the guy and would have a public bromance with him if he could. Interestingly enough, Stuart has also left TFWG, came back, left again and came back again. And no one has ever seen Stuart and TheDude in the same room at the same time. That pretty much covers it, doesn't it Stuart? :)

How was the Saturday night 80s Rockfest at the New Illusions? I hear the Fire Marshall arrived on the scene, giving Stuart cause to disrobe right there, and then streaking down the adjacent sidewalk in an effort to divert attention away from the reported overcrowding. Good on you, Stuart! That's truly taking one for the team.

rose, you're a guy? Thought you were a chick. I'll refer to you as rosecity then rather than rose. This reminds me of the earlier days when Silkie first joined us and we thought she was a guy. Remember that, dmargalotti? Oh boy, was my face red! dmargalotti's whole head was red. Although that might have been from sunburn.

We always welcome everyone. And we force you to check out the mechanical bull once or twice. It's a thing. Stuart knows that full well.
