Fantastic word game

Trans Atlantic flights were once made by the Hindenburg in less than two days, which was quite an accomplishment 100 years ago.

Hold on, Cerebral One, because he was indeed a top attraction as a world champion wrestler himself, and was legitimately feared by his peers, but he was also well known as an elite manager who guided the career of 3 time NWA World Champion Lou Thesz, affectionately known as "The God of Wrestling".

Czar WMC appears to have a perfectly capable successor, if that does happen, with dmargalotti waiting in the wings.

Man, CT, you are faster than a hiccup today. I wasn't completely satisfied with my submission, so I went back to spruce it up a bit. You, then, rapidly fired off yours, and forced me to revert. 😂

Waiting in the wings until I retire or am kicked out, dmargalotti is perfectly happy with his current positions as International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as he prefers) and Director of Early Morning Contributions (EMCs as we all prefer).

International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as he prefers) and Director of Early Morning Contributions (EMCs as we all prefer) are job positions that won't be available to anyone else for quite some time.

For quite some time, I've been thinking that on the first Saturday of each month we should replace the 80's Rockfest at Illusions with a Team Trivia Night but I've been afraid to bring up the subject.

Rosecitymedia, thanks for thinking of me as a worthy successor to the position of Game Czar. 10 years ago I might have considered making a run at it, but at this point I've got all I can handle right now. Plus, I really enjoy the work I'm doing on behalf of PowerWorld LTD as it affords me the opportunity to travel the world and meet so many fascinating people from all walks of life.

Bring up the subject of replacing the Rockfest with a trivia night and I'll be all for it, so long as the losers of the contest aren't forced to ride a mechanical you-know-what.

A mechanical you-know-what would surely come up in a trivia question involving the subject of Gilley's in Pasadena, which was once affectionately known as the largest honky tonk in the world.

Anyone still have a VCR that I can borrow, so I can pull my Urban Cowboy tape out of the attic?

"Schindler's List" was difficult to watch because of it's stark realism and brutal depiction of Nazi atrocities during the Holocaust, but it should be mandatory viewing in every high school class teaching 20th century history.

Our school should be teaching basics civics too as well as practical skills like setting a household budget, paying taxes, and balancing a checkbook if we want students to be able to navigate the world on their own after graduation.

If we want students to be able to navigate the world on their own after graduation, we should direct them to The Fantastic Word Game, where all of the world's knowledge can be found, one tasty tidbit at a time, in the course of reading all 43,617 (now 43,618) submissions archived here.

Dentists will tell you that sugar isn't what causes cavities, but instead lies within the bacteria that the sugar attracts.
