Fantastic word game

What is the minimum per hand asked the card player as he stepped up to the table, determined to see if he could beat the house.

Oh boy. Looks like we've got a one-sentence rule violation. 😲😲😲😲 Should we wake the Game Czar, or just wait until he shows up later?
 
 Hearing, or seeing as is the case in this instance, that two sentences were used in a submission, makes me concerned that a head is going to explode and the Cerebral Heel will be asked to volunteer to clean up the mess.

The Sinister Semicolon isn't looking so bad, now. Hyrum probably should have employed The Crafty Comma.
 
Clean up the mess by contributing an acceptable single sentence and paying a hefty fine to TFWG's Executive Board before Congress acts on your offense, Hyrum, or you may just find yourself sharing a cell in a federal prison with a certain former president.
 
"The Netflix" would be what my grandfather would likely call the service, if he would've lived long enough to have ever seen it.
 
"Gross!" exclaimed his classmates, when they caught little Johnny trying to hide the fact that he was in the corner of the recess yard picking his nose.
 
 Rhinotillexomania or not, little Johnny couldn't get away from all the snickering and finger pointing until after he graduated from high school and moved away.

rosecity, Anyacat was a long time contributor who left this world way way back in late 2010. Man, nearly 13 years ago. Hard to believe. She was a big part of TFWG (she was our Director of Travel Tips) and she actually created the Word Association game here on Radio Discussions. That game started in March 2008 so that game is now 15 years old, just a tad younger than TFWG (as I prefer).
 
A holiday weekend is only 2 weeks away, and boy, the fireworks are going to fly around here.
