Fantastic word game

Pizza on the menu was a staple at my school, too, but given the school district's large Catholic population, fish sticks were always offered as an alternative during Lent.

"The Stanley's Cup" is an odd way of phrasing what most people express as "the Stanley Cup," with no apostrophe-s, indicating, perhaps, that Stuart isn't much of a hockey fan.
 
A hockey fan sometimes goes to see a melee of a fight, but instead, an actual hockey game breaks out.

I'm starting to think Stuart is somewhere nearing his 80s. The Netflix? The Stanley's Cup? Both watched, of course, on his rattle box.

The Lovely Megan McCormick, subject of so many adoring posts in this game, has made no impact whatever in my life, as the TV show she was on was one I never had any desire to watch.
 
My homework would have been eaten by the hamster, because my mother wouldn’t allow me to have a canine.
 
A very rare occurrence would be a human tooth in a canine, but all humans have canine teeth, otherwise known as incisors.

They're the pointy ones immediately in front of the molars.
