Fantastic word game

The IRS will never call to tell you that you owe back taxes which means if you get a call from someone who says they are with the IRS threatening to send the police to your house to arrest you, it is most definitely a scam.

Happened to me once. I knew right away that it was a scam. Boy, did I have fun messin' with that guy until he finally cursed me out for wasting his time, lol.

"A person's mobile cellular wireless telephone," as Stuart puts it in his odd way of dealing with tech stuff, is missing a fourth adjective that would the describe the phone, that word being "smart."

Smart of me to realize that today is Friday which means the weekend is here and we are one step closer to rockin' out to the greatest in 80s Rock.

So join us Saturday night at the new Illusions, why don't you. It's a great time as kenny, Dave and I spin the greatest tunes plus, of course, we play your requests as well. And, then later, in the early hours of Sunday, we meet at the local Denny's where kenny takes over the kitchen and cooks up some pretty awesome grub. Can you think of any reason not to join us? I thought not. Have a great weekend!!

The greatest in 80s Rock music from Pittsburgh's 102.5 WDVE could always be heard twenty fours a day inside Bob's Subs in downtown Clarion, Pennsylvania. 🥪

Bob's Subs in downtown Clarion, Pennsylvania could possibly cater our next board meeting if Stuart feels their food is worth the expense.

The deluxe platter is much better at the Bob's Subs location in downtown Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. 🪨

In downtown Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, Bob's opened to great fanfare that included a visit from Miss Silkie and some of the lovely young library interns.

A visit from Miss Silkie and some of the lovely young library interns to throw out the first pitch at last night's baseball game had all the players in the dugouts smiling and staring, their eyes wide with lust.

At good old Bob's people have been trying to figure out who the heck Bob is, but it appears that they were having a good time.

"Anymore" is a country song by Travis Tritt, which is fortunate because otherwise starting a sentence with that word would leave me stumped.

And that's because "any more" -- as in "Any more of that and you're fired." and "anymore" -- as in "I just don't care anymore" -- are not interchangeable. No problem starting a sentence with the former, nearly impossible with the latter.

Stumped briefly by dmargalotti's clue, CT managed to come through with a fine contribution accompanied by an educational lesson.

I would like to nominate CT for our vacant position of Director of Linguistics. For those of us who have been around a while, we haven't had a Director of Linguistics since, I believe, raptus regalitur was here many moons ago. If memory serves, Anyacat may have had some input on linguistics but I don't think she held that position. Pretty sure she was Director of Energy, Tourism and Travel Tips or something like that. So, CT, please let us know if you accept that nomintion. Following that, the Executive Board members (me, dmargalotti, Miss Silkie, scanman) will vote on that. And, then, the Board of Governors will vote on our vote.
