Some would prefer less wrestling talk but even I know that we gotta do what we gotta do to get the job done.

RCM hasn't been on Radio Discussions since August 7th. Perhaps real life has intervened. Perhaps he is merely on vacation.

A member of the TFWG Executive Board is definitely needed to punish future linguistic atrocities like "the TFWG" in the above post, in which "the" and "T" mean the same thing.

Our yearly pilgrimage to Myrtle's Beach in South Carolina, if we were to make one, wouldn't last long if I saw that the welcome sign at the city limits got the name of the city wrong.

As long as Myrtle does not find out about it, we can pretty much do anything we want.

CT, we can't begin negotiations until your nomination is approved by the members of the Executive Board (me, dm, Miss Silkie, scanman) and the only one of those 4 who has answered so far is me. Once the 4 of us have approved, it goes to the Board of Governors. So, I would ask that dmargalotti, Miss Silkie and scanman to please approve or disapprove CT's nomination for Director of Linguistics.
 
Position yourself for success by giving the members of the Executive Board a little added incentive (hint, hint) to approve your nomination.

I fully approved of CT's nomination to be named Director of Linguistics. Now, please excuse me while I go look at some recent deposits made to my savings account.

 
Your nomination would be well received by the East Texas redneck (although my vote is not solicited nor needed), and I'll keep it to myself that in the history books this moment will be documented as the genesis of the Cerebral Heel's eventual PowerWorld takeover.

I'll keep an eye out for the mechanical bull to make its appearance on Marketplace. A tip of the 10 gallon to you on the nomination, CT. May it take you far in life.

PowerWorld takeover or no PowerWorld takeover, that bucking bogus bovine will be history within hours of my assuming my place on the board.

And so intense is my hatred of the MB, I won't even try to make any money off it. I'll just strip it down to its parts and wiring and leave the metal stuff outside the new Illusions for local ne'er-do-wells to steal and try to sell so they can buy more crack.
