Fantastic word game

A better final grade is usually assured if you take the time to study.

Well, folks, it's the weekend and not only is it almost time for another 80s Rockfest but it's also time for me to take another trip to sunny Florida. I leave tomorrow so my physical personage will not be joining you guys at the new Illusions tomorrow night. And that's kind of sad because CT, as the newest Executive Board member, will be taking advantage of his promotion to spend an hour spinning the tunes giving dmargalotti and kenny a little break. Someone keep an eye on the mechanical bull.

dmargalotti will be in charge and, being in a generous mood this time around, I have given him full authority to use my spacious Game Czar office while I am away. I don't know what's wrong with me. scanman, you may still want to have one of your guys pay an unscheduled visit or three during the week to scan for weird stuff. Appreciate that. I'll still pop in from time to time. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior.

The time to study your smoking hot body and voluptuous curvature, dear lady, will necessitate several hours of my time and also require a hands on experience.

A sophomore in college might tell you that if you had kept that activity up for much longer, hair would've eventually grown on your palms.

Kneading dough and being a sophomore in college typically go hand in hand.

As the vacationing WMC would assuredly quip, see what I did there?

Through God's green pastures stroll the souls of millions of Indian cows, considered sacred by Hindus.

Unlike mechanical bulls.

So how did y'all enjoy my '80s country night at the new Illusions? No Night Ranger and Duran Duran. Plenty of George Strait and Alabama.

Hindus believe they will be reincarnated into another being in the next lifetime, and that may sound all well and good to some, until you realize that with someone like me who has no luck whatsoever, you'd end up being reborn as a fly that meets its untimely fate courtesy of an electric fly swatter.

The interweb shopping site called The Amazon hopefully has a good tracking device available for sale since we haven't seen hide nor hair of dmargalotti (who is supposed to be in charge of TFWG while WMC vacations) in several days.

it's been the Stuart, CT, and Rose show all weekend. Well, except for the one exquisitely and perfectly timed Sunday morning scanman contribution. By the way, thanks for a great show on Saturday night, CT. Never had been to the new Illusions prior to that. The place was kind of dated, and the drinks were watered down, but the music was spectacular and the "home shop for repairs" sign attached to the mechanical bull was rather hilarious.

Missing enemies of powerful New York mobsters often end up at the bottom of the East River, where they will be joined before daybreak by a certain "missing" mechanical bull I've got strapped into my truck bed.

Moving on from the Sound, as I hear New York's laws on dumping amusement machines in waterways aren't as strict as Connecticut's.

My truck bed was not involved in any way with the transport of the mechanical bull, but you'd better have the Sheriff with you and a search warrant in hand if you want to go snooping around my cattle tank.

Sure glad I dug out that booger last spring.

My cattle tank and a few of scanman's security guys have been assigned to guard the mechanical bull so that it remains safe and sound and away from the hands of The Evil CT (TECT as no one prefers).

Well well well. I'm having such a relaxing time down here in sunny Florida so imagine my surprise when I pop in for a visit to find CT still trying to plot the bull's demise and dmargalotti amongst the missing and scanman amongst the semi-missing and Miss Silkie too. What to do, what to do. Unless and until dmargalotti reappears this week, I'll be making regular appearances from my backup Game Czar office in sunny Florida. CT and Stuart, I am very disappointed in the two of you. The Board of Governors will be made aware of these shenanigans.

The Evil CT (TECT as no one prefers) thanks RCM for his constructive criticisms of my '80s country night, which I plan to address next weekend.

I've also modified the playlist to make it more Yankee-friendly. George Strait will now be singing "Willimantic By Morning," "I Can Still Make New Haven" and "Does Hartford Ever Cross Your Mind," while Alabama will set feet dancing to reimagined hits including "My Home's in Waterbury," "New England Delight," and "Song of the Northeast."

Weekend visits to Illusions would never be the same without the beautiful and lovely mechanical bull.

I'll be more than happy to protect the best faux bovine this country has ever seen.

Scanman1's desire was to occupy the Game Czar's corner office while WMC was off enjoying some beach therapy this week, but that won't happen because I have made myself at home while the boss is away.

Sorry for being absent the last few days. We hit a snag in contract negotiations over the site of our next band camp location. Let's just say that some local officials needed to be "convinced" to honor our agreement.
