Fantastic word game

 Hockey will never be very big in Texas since we don't have a lot of natural ice to offer for which the kids can practice.

I thought the Silkie one preferred the FWG. Has she been removed from the Executive team, or has the Czar merely forgotten her preference? Will the lovely, young library interns ever be the same after this apparent slap in the face? Will their tidbits be just a little less tasty from this point forward?

My sources have told me that we might have a special disk jockey appearance from Miss Silkie and Sweetie Pie in the booth spinning some tunes. The full roster of Executive Board members including Miss Silkie are all aware that I use the formal name of the game, as it was titled originally, and they also ignore my formality and still call it TFWG, to answer rosecitymedia's query while he tries to give me the bum's rush.

Now, now. Let's not let chests get all puffed out. WMC said "TFWG, as all Executive Board members including CTListener prefer". Silkie has posted FWG or the FWG since I've been involved. So, not all of the execs prefer TFWG, as I remarked.
 
Hotel reservations at a significantly discounted rate are a perk of being married to a lovely and extremely hospitable innkeeper.

Pick up trucks driven to an office job seems like kind of a waste.

I mean, if you ain't hauling something or towing something, what's the point in having one? 🤷‍♂️
 
A waste of space, literally, is the unnecessary space between "pick" and "up" in rosecitymedia's latest submission.

Have I used "submission" as an end clue before? If so, my apologies. Double apologies to the Game Czar, as that clue is bound to take the game in the direction of wrestling yet again.
 
Submission to my desire of eating a whole half gallon of rocky road ice cream has left me with a cold belly and a chocolate mustache.

I wrestled with the decision prior to consumption.
 
 Money burning is a crime, but it doesn't hold near as stiff of a penalty as waltzing on into the Fantastic Word Game (FWG, as Miss Silkie and the HOSS prefers) and not using the entirety of the end clue provided to you.

"Monopoly money" will now always remind me of the horrible mistake I made in this forum, so in the future I will stick with Yahtzee or The Game of Life.
