Fantastic word game

Tones of confusion are ringing in my ears because I did not know that Ferris wheels were named after an actual guy which is why scanman noted that 'Ferris' should be spelled with a capital F.

Federal Express, however, is a private corporation, and is not affiliated with The U.S. Government.

I should have spelled it "gubmint."😛

The U.S. Government has all those agencies that start "department" and then under those are the capital F letter agencies.

Words, when they are in great quantities and in fine print, give lawyers great joy and delight.

My Blue Cross plan is at odds with that of the guy across the street, who erects a huge cross festooned with hundreds of bright blue lights every Christmas and Easter to show everyone just how Christian he is, at least until I complain to the proper authorities and have the thing taken down and hauled away.

To the same landfill that one day will become the permanent home of the mechanical bull.

Away we go with my Tuesday night contribution which comes after I've spent several minutes catching up on the day's goings-on.

How's everyone doing this evening? Nice to see Weiserguy back for two days in a row.

The day's goings-on now include a shout-out from WMC2006 and a box of Zebra Cakes by the door, waiting for some child, any child, to ring the damn doorbell.

(Thanks. Some days I drop by, other days not, but I'm always amused by everyone's creativity.)

Ring the damn doorbell of the Ranch at 3am and be prepared to outrun  bullets.

Oh, CH, why not just erect your own display? A full sized pentagram with large red LEDs should do the trick.

schadenfreude? That's likely the biggest word ever used at the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG, as the Czar prefers).

Duck sauce, as provided free of charge at Chinese takeout places, contains no duck, nor is it intended to complement duck dishes, as most such eateries don't even have duck on the menu.
