Fantastic word game

A TFWG tote bag includes an authentic, lovingly used pair of spurs donated to the Foundation by yours truly.

Disclaimer: While sporting the spurs, caution should be given careful consideration in any situation that requires squatting.

"Roller coasters for amusement parks" is a phrase which would make a complete sentence if you were to insert the word "are" as the third word.

The third word is "kind" when referring to a few of our little band campers we have heard reported were movingly defending in their way the honor and integrity of the librarian against the weirdos in those outside band camps.

Those outside band camps should really reconsider their marketing strategy because, let's be honest, the great outdoors is really no place for a flute toting nerd.

Once upon a time, a man wearing an earring was considered to be a little light in the loafers.

The loafers, sneakers, high heels, and boots will all be on full display tomorrow night at the new Illusions as we celebrate an End to Daylight Saving Time 80s Rockfest (EDST80R as some prefer).

And since we gain the extra hour, we will party hearty and play more music for that extra hour. And kenny will cook up some great grub at Denny's for an extra hour as well. See ya there!

Weiserguy, I wasn't complaining that you and Miss Silkie posted at the same time. It happens. I was merely mentioning that no one caught it and someone (a certain Texas wrestling fan who posted next) should have. However, Weiserguy, it's my duty to issue 3 demerits to you for your next contribution after that one because you failed to bold your ending clue. Don't worry, everyone pays that price when they forget, including me, not just you.

CT, as Director of Linguistics, it's your duty (not mine) to determine rosecity's punishment for not hyphenating 'beer-guzzling'.

Have a great weekend!!

An End to Daylight Saving Time 80s Rockfest (EDST80R as some prefer) is fine any way you prefer it as long as I get my hour.

My hour will be spent drooling on the pillow as I vividly dream about the future that includes winning a future Powerball jackpot.

Only in my dreams, as the once glamorous Debbie Gibson sang about over 30 years ago.

Go ahead, Cerebral One. Punish me
. 😂

A future Powerball jackpot is not in my future, as I do not buy lottery tickets.

How much are they, anyway? It has been more than 20 years since I bought one - a scratch off. The one time I did buy one I picked 3 numbers and won $580. That was in the late 70s,

Each of my contributions (one here, one in Word Association) did not post after the server came back online which is too bad because they were fantastic!

Message at the top of the page says some posts didn't make it. Hope everything is back to normal. I was having major withdrawal symptoms most of the day. What is a Game Czar to do when there is no game!

They were fantastic, but unfortunately they disappeared into a black hole.

Did the Director of Linguistics miss a mistake in post #45,130? Isn't "flute-toting" supposed to be hyphenated?

A black hole is where post 45,130 has gone at this point, and besides it would probably have been better to call him a flautist nerd, but who was I to play grammar police as a librarian when I was wearing my fun department hat?
