Hear ye, hear ye all who need to know that the linguistic correction did not need to be made if using the singular form in a new sentence, because the subject matter could have been whatever you wanted it to be, not the same subject as the previous post.

Game play in baseball had been slowed to a crawl due to dawdling by pitchers and batters, but last season's rule changes succeeded in picking up the pace.

Jimmy Stewart and Farley Granger were never romantically involved, despite any scandalous rumors that may have circulated at the time in Hollywood.
In Hollywood, you are likely to find many movie stars, but if you travel to San Jose, you may find the stars who never were, and they are parking cars and pumping gas.

A much younger version of my current self had no gray hair, and a six-pack abdomen as opposed to a fully tapped keg.
A fully tapped keg is very often consumed by young college students every Saturday night.
Every Saturday Night Fever soundtrack song went straight to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, or so it seemed.
It seemed like we just went through the holiday season but here we are all over again.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. All PowerWorld LLC associates have Friday off except for some who choose to work and take the day off another time. Most administration buildings will be closed until Monday except for Building 12 within band camp where those associates will be. However, that cafeteria and business center will be closed. The main band camp location will be open and staffed with volunteers as will the main cafeteria which will be staffed by the lovely young library interns and the goodies they have cooked up. Thank you!

eBay is where I went to get a clue, which further illustrated just how desperately it was needed.
It was needed, but really, was it needed so badly that you got into a bidding war and ended up paying over $200?
Over $200 for a clue is a bit pricey unless you are planning on never using it again, framing it and hanging it in the band camp lounge for everyone to check it out.

It's good to see all the volunteers as I walk around band camp today. The Meal For The Homeless is going well. Thanks to Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns for doing their usual terrific job.
