Fantastic word game

A spicy food guy will be challenged by the latest viral hot pepper videos, but I know better than to risk it.

I usually stick to eating what I feel like, not what someone tells me to eat, but I think Dolph Lundgren might have subliminally convinced me to try that Zaxby's Chicken Philly sandwich last week. It was a solid commercial recommendation from the artist formerly known as Ivan Drago

A bonfire is usually a great way to end the year, as long as the weather cooperates, wrote quadraphonic, testing the rules of the game by making his entire sentence a clue.

An Easter egg, like the Christmas tree, is yet another artifact of past pagan seasonal celebrations that has been appropriated for inclusion in religious holidays by Christianity.

DoL advises that only "Easter" is capitalized in "Easter egg."

Christianity is less concerned with symbolism, although the icons do remind us of who we are and where we came from.

We came from nothing, and after 17 years, this is all we've got.

Not that that's bad. "Mea culpa" on that whole bold sentence gaffe. I am still out of practice, I reckon.

All we've got is 17 years of history wrapped up in 45,590 posts (so far). but it really is something we can be proud of.

We can be proud of the fact that there is always someone standing by to point out a sloppy play.

Here's looking at you again, quad. There's no "nothing" on Silkie's end clue.

A sloppy play is how we will end our day, with a rhyme, a tasty morsel from the lovely young library interns, and an invitation to the 80s Rockfest tomorrow night.

Yup, it's the weekend and time for another great 80s Rockfest with, we hope, special guest quadraphonic. So join Dave, kenny, quad and myself as we spin the tunes of the best in 80s Rock plus your requests. If you can't join us in person, then join us via the huge PowerWorld livestream. And then join us in the early morning Sunday hours for some great grub cooked up by kenny.

CT, I agree with you regarding that Questions Board but it's the only Board that made the most sense on which to post the announcement.

Have a great weekend!!

Sometimes I struggle with my feelings for the Game Czar (as I'm doing right this moment) because I feel rather bad for him that the response to his anniversary thread gathered about the same amount of people as I would imagine he received at one of his childhood birthday parties.

Bazinga! Hey, I showed, whether it "counts" or not. Good party, by the way.

His childhood birthday parties could be traumatic when all of his friends from kindergarten make excuses not to show up, the soda is warm and flat, Mom has made a strawberry birthday cake even though he hates strawberries, and for presents, he gets clothes instead of toys..

Toys that were fun for me as a kid didn't hold as much interest for me when I turned to my teen years.

rosecity, what I really meant to say is I was hoping that people not involved in the game would respond and perhaps stop by and end up joining us. You are already here so therefore you don't count. My apologies and I thank you for showing and counting.

My teen years were spent in the 1980s.

That's the best I could muster in a sea of barley and hops. The eyes are still seeing straight enough to witness y'all's flub that caused this paltry, mundane entry.

Incorrectly no more, as I spotted my error seconds after posting and modified the sentence by adding "his" and "him" in all the appropriate places.
🤦‍♂️

Appropriate  places to hang out for the cool teen, were the movie theater, the video arcade, and Sam Goody's in the 1980s.

Take a 5 and have a handful of gummies, CT. Just look at the poorly executed sentence you have forced me to use.
