Fantastic word game

"Bipeds, quadrupeds, mopeds, pedagogue, pediatrician," I mused, idly listing words with a "ped" root, then stopping, fearing that someone with a love of that suffix (or prefix) could be taken for a pedophile.

Yes, WMC, no billboards, at least on our two interstate highways. Not sure what the law is on other roads, though.

A pedophile, in these parts, would be subject to having something called a can of whoop ass opened up on them, as my fellow Texan "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would  say.

Been some time since we've stepped into the squared circle. Mighty pleased to take this opportunity to rectify that. Hell of a way to start my day, DoL (LC or CH, as I prefer), having to play off a pedophilia induced end clue. A plug of Copenhagen spat on the floor at your feet for that particular monstrosity. 😂

"Say Anything" is one of John Cusack's movies, but his best one could also be a cautionary tale about pedophiles, if you ignore the script and just start with the title "Better Off Dead."

Damaged hair could be one of the side effects of trying to do something yourself, instead of leaving it to qualified professionals.

Any time you want to sit down and ruminate on the differences between those two terms, Stuart, it might also help to get a consensus on the differences between "this Christmas" and "next Christmas" and the vagaries of the ways they are used.

I know what they mean, even if whoever I'm talking to doesn't..

The ways they are used fall under the auspices of the Director of Linguistics, so be sure to file the proper paperwork with me before you go discussing them any further.

Irony, further and farther, as well as the Oxford comma, which, as you can see, I prefer not to use, are elements of English usage that can only be discussed here with my written permission.

Back in the day, the old folks used to get to school by trudging uphill both ways in 6 feet of snow but with no footwear.

A taxicab to the Finish Line in the mall got me there just before closing, allowing me to purchase a fly Z Cavarricci shirt, and the latest Michael Jordan tennis shoes.

You may ask, who still goes to the mall, and why wouldn't I compare prices at Foot Locker and Champs?

The answer is I wouldn't. I wear a collared button up and boots. 🤷‍♂️
