Fantastic word game

Depending on how it is used in a sentence, "life," if you're a convicted criminal, could mean that you will never get out of prison or that you could eventually be released on parole.

Parole within rosecity's world will never end for me simply because I forgot to include Ed's name in someone's welcome message not long ago.

And I'm not sure if Ed is even aware of it other than you bringing it up several times, rosecity. But that's ok. Enjoy your fun.

tall-guy1, welcome to the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I and all Game Czars prefer). I don't recall offhand seeing your name here before so you shall receive the newbie welcome. Just a few small rules to follow please: Use one sentence and one sentence only. Please use the entire bolded ending clue from the most recent contribution and please bold your new ending clue. If you are unable to bold, we will accept CAPITAL LETTERS. Also, in honor of our late friend and Director of Energy and Tourism Tips, Anyacat, we will accept a contribution in haiku form. Please italicize, or somehow differentiate, game dialogue from game play.

Please meet our TFWG Executive Board members:
WMC2006: Game Czar
dmargalotti: International Director of Band Camp; Director of Early Morning Contributions
quadraphonic: Director of TPS Reports
Silkie (Miss Silkie): Head Librarian; Chief Mixologist; Director of Fun; Owner/Manager Miss Silkie's Tasty Tidbits
scanman01: HOSS (Head Of Safety and Security)
CTListener: Director of Linguistics
Non-Executive contributors: rosecitymedia, Stuart, Ed Nielson, Plate Blocker
Please feel free to ask questions to any of us. Also feel free to peruse any or all of our 2,310 pages of TFWG to see where we started, where we've been, and where we are now.

Not long ago, our friend Ed was unceremoniously excluded from the list of members mentioned in WMC's long winded welcome package, but now it appears to be quad who finds himself on the outside looking in.

I don't know what to tell you, WMC. It's your world of imaginary tales and folklore. I just do a better job at keeping track of it all.

On the outside looking in, quad has already forgiven me as I have already updated my previous contribution.

6 demerits for me. Sorry quad. And Ed. And anyone else I forget in any future welcomes.

My previous contribution neglected my unofficial duties of promoting one of the greatest exports of the great State of Texas, but I will rectify that now by recommending the southern classic known as banana pudding, which is better at Buc-ee's than anything your granny can make.

Yours truly was going to post something about my granny being better than yours, but the Game Czar beat me to the punch.

It was going to go something like this: Anything your granny can make, let it be known, my granny can make better. I had to insert something to separate the beginning and ending clues. But it's moot now anyway.

The neighborhood has a rundown 80 foot single wide at the end of the road, with a half parted out '66 Plymouth Baracuda in the front yard, a partially painted corn hole board hanging from a limb of the half dead Magnolia tree, and tin foil covering up all the windows.

The old lady and I keep it around just to tick off the HOA.

The Windows 7 operating system is the most intuitive, least buggy version of Microsoft's flagship product yet, which is why I refuse to "upgrade" from it even though I no longer receive updates.

The bulletin board also is where you'll find advertising for services ranging from snow plowing to babysitting, with phone numbers on little paper tabs for interested people to tear off.

The pits full of crocodiles are not something in which you'll want to fall, or it'll cost you a life and prevent ol' Harry from ever collecting his fortune.

Good luck comes in very handy, especially if you're playing a game of high-stakes poker.
