My Favor Flav timepiece, round and oversized and bearing the rapper's simulated autograph. turned out to be a worthless knockoff, as Flavor, not Favor, was the name of the hype man who rose to fame with Public Enemy.

Talking about an Eagle leads me to reminisce on glory days past, but then suddenly remembering that the one unceremoniously dumped in Dallas by this man talk mess called "The Freak" has, thus far, not panned out so well.
 
Their sickbeds need to be stripped, the mattress flipped, the sheets and pillowcases washed, and a liberal amount of Lysol sprayed around the house.
 
Some germs waiting for reinforcements will be in for a surprise when I have reinforcements of my own in the form of antibiotics.
 
Antibiotics supplies at the PowerWorld Medical Center are in good shape ahead of the upcoming February band camp sessions.
 
Right after the Super Bowl is when my anticipation of the start of baseball season begins in earnest.

Not that the NBA and NHL playoffs aren't of interest, but both of those don't begin until the MLB season is already underway.

Buc-ee's is proud to announce the grand opening if its newest location in Brunswick, GA on January 29th. 120 pumps and beaver nuggets as far as the eyes can see.
 
You usually see me announce the weekly 80s Rockfest a bit later in the day but, today, I'm announcing it a bit earlier.

Because I've been off all week so why wait. Yup, it's almost the weekend and we all know what that means. It's the Saturday night 80s Rockfest at the new Illusions. kenny, Dave and I will be playing the best in 80s Rock plus your requests. If you can't join us in person, join us on the huge PowerWorld livestream. We, along with the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull, look forward to seeing everyone. Then, join us in the early morning Sunday hours at Denny's for some great grub cooked by kenny. Have a great weekend!!
