Fantastic word game

Mr. Allen would surely retire and make his way to a secluded island if he was ever expected to correct all of the grammatical and punctuation inaccuracies that plague a number of contributions submitted here.

A percentage of those coming from these very hands.
 
A number of contributions submitted here concern topics of interest only to longtime devotees of the game, which may explain TFWG's struggle to attract new blood.

The semicolon is supposed to link two related phrases (which may or may not have subject and verb) and make them one, It is not intended to be a lazy shortcut that incorrectly ties together two totally unrelated phrases. Strictly speaking, "I think; therefore, I am" is indeed a sentence.

Sorry, Ed. I forgot you're not hip to the wrestling game. I thought you had indeed taken the strap (or championship, if you prefer) for submitting the shortest sentence on the FWG. After a further review, it appears that The Dude's "water the grass", that started this shindig, remains the shortest submission presented in the game, and unless someone finds a way to incorporate "Jesus wept" into the proceedings, will likely remain as such.

You are currently in for a little more ridicule regarding your job performance as Game Czar, WMC, given Stuart's contribution is fully on point.

His beginning clue was followed by some random words, and finally came his ending clue.

To seal the deal for a community to receive a PowerWorld band camp, dmargalotti, our International Director of Band Camp (IDBC as most prefer), has an extensive array of questions and proposals that need to be fulfilled.
 
Questions and proposals that need to be fulfilled immediately include an explanation of the Game Czar's unprovoked filing of a formal complaint against Stuart (including the issuance of an unwarranted demerit), when he himself can't put a comma in the correct place of his own submission, and what plan will be implemented as a means of penalizing him for his continued subpar job performance?

Job performance of mine is perfectly fine as I already mentioned that when I contributed Post #46,330, which was at the time 4 minutes after Stuart posted, Stuart had neglected to bold his beginning clue.

Obviously, he still had plenty of time to go back and edit which is what he did. And my Post #46,332 is just fine.
