Fantastic word game

A full eight minutes before WMC's response was enough time to cause an uproar at this here thread.
 
This here thread won't continue much longer with this infighting so let's agree to disagree and move onward and upward.

Stuart, when I posted my contribution, it said that your contribution was posted 4 minutes earlier. And at that point, your beginning clue was not bolded. I'm not blaming you or anything. I'm just telling you that it wasn't bolded. It really wasn't. Given that we've had these mechanical issues with these boards in the past, perhaps something happened that I saw that no one else saw. Or something. But I swear that your beginning clue was not bolded. I rescind that 1 demerit. :)

Nat King Cole would be greatly offended by being called "Boy," which, coincidentally, is the extraneous boldface word in dmargalotti's post, which offends me greatly as well.
 
The Human resources Department has found itself as both a beginning and an end clue.

As quickly as possible (which is the dangling unused clue above), A beginning and an end clue is in total disarray because our buddy quad apparently forgot to flip the page because he responded to a completely wrong clue.

quad, in Post #46,346, used the beginning clue from the last post on the previous page. Someone (**cough**scanman**cough) should have noticed that. I'm shocked that no one noticed at all. Apparently, I'm the only one who reviews each and every submission which should tell you (**cough**rosecity**cough**) that I do my job and very well. Anyway, everyone is at fault (except for me) but no demerits will be issued because there aren't any left.
 
He responded to a completely wrong clue and now I'm afraid I might do the same because our Game Czar has provided three possible clues from which to continue, not to mention that he seems to have developed quite the nasty cough.

Six demerits heading WMC's way. The "a" after the comma should not be capitalized, and there's subject/verb disagreement after that boldfaced phrase. "Is" should be "are."
 
Sniffing glue must have destroyed enough brain cells in Stuart's head that he thought selling me out was a good idea.
