Fantastic word game

A waste of time and money would be to dig a hole to find something that won't be turning up any time soon without having it handed to you outright..

I used to be generous and kind, even with those who were not, even forbearing with takers for a time.

For a time, Stuart had this habit of disappearing for long periods but it seems he has finally decided to stay with us.

And we are all better for it!

Stay with us so you can see how this saga ends.

Well, since WMC touched on the subject, I will have to leave for a little while. On Wednesday of next week, I am having a long-awaited foot surgery to fuse some bones back together and have a procedure having to do with arthritis of the foot. Only the right one is being done. I will be in the hospital 3-4 days followed by 4-6 weeks of recovery. (physical therapy, etc..)

Part of my recovery will be spent at "The RCM Ranch" where love and kindness are abundant. Also, they accept North Carolina Blue Cross and Blue Shield. ;)

This saga ends when Stuart is no longer limping to the finish line.

Awww Stuart, so sorry to hear it. Are we losing you for the entire hospital and recovery stages or will you be stopping in when you can? Perhaps Miss Phyllis can join us in your place. If so, please make sure she knows to use one sentence and one sentence only. ;)

Queen has gotten back together with Adam Lambert as their lead singer. 🎙️
Thanks WMC, I will be back in about two weeks. Seriously, I did hear about an application you can get from "The Google Store" to check grammar and punctuations. After two or three weeks when I can drive, I will look up "The Google Store" in the Yellow Pages and go there and purchase this application.

God as my witness, I never ever expected His name to be an end clue to one of CT's always entertaining contributions.

What's next, partner? A Trump 2024 avatar? 🙃

CT's always entertaining contributions come from an apparently well developed intellect which makes him more interesting than putting up with small minded, shallow, haggard women yammering on smoothly about his well known globetrotting exploits.

His well known globetrotting exploits, assuming you're talking about mine, haven't taken him to much of the globe, but education and imagination, combined with the occasional gummy or two, allow him to create that impression.

Speaking of impressions, let me do my impression of Stuart's English teacher, Mr. Allen, and tell you that your "well known" needs a hyphen. See me after class to receive your three demerits.

High school is somewhat of a blur to me once I got past my junior year, but I do remember certain things like smoking funny cigarettes in the stands of our empty football field, meeting the girl with the porcelain skin that I thought was going to be the love of my life, and the fogged up windows of my 1978 Dodge Lil' Red Express truck being tapped on by the sheriff's deputy as my female companion and I hurried to get dressed while trying to come up with a logical excuse as to what exactly we were doing there at 2:30am on a school night.

Class of '88. Boy howdy, it ain't a wonder why Mama Rose never thought I'd live past 30.

What exactly we were doing there at 2:30am on a school night depends on which excuse you are more likely to believe.

And, believe me, it's Friday night which means the weekend is here. Which means it's time to relax, unwind, and get our groove on at another fantastic 80s Rockfest at the new Illusions tomorrow night. Kenny, Dave and I will spin the tunes all night long. Perhaps we'll find some 'get well soon' type stuff to play in honor of Stuart's absence. So join us in person or via the huge PowerWorld livestream. Afterwards, join us at Denny's for some great grub. Have a great weekend!!

You are more likely to believe rosecitymedia was with Camelia, the family cow (and great-grandmother of Constance) with the black and white hide, on that long-ago night than you are to imagine him with a porcelain-skinned girl, at least if you're familiar with the ongoing TFWG story line and have been following along.

Along the way, our dear Linguistical friend has gotten the story all twisted if he truly thinks I've ever had relations with a cow, but by golly, I readily admit to possessing a warm set of hands that really gets the milk flowing into my pail when I stroke her loaded and swollen teats.
