Single day (or 24 hours as some might prefer) didn't even go by before CT strode right back in the building to claim his rightful place.
I mean, even Stuart hasn't made it back yet. rosecity, while I agree that CT is one in a million, we are all replaceable, even me although after 17+ years, I'm pretty much surgically attached to my Game Czar chair in my plush Game Czar office. I was more referring to the title and duties. Our original Linguistics Czar, raptusregalitur, was on duty in the earlier days. Don't ask me how long ago, I don't recall. You can check the archives. I believe our late great friend, Anyacat, may have had some Linguistics duties as well. So CT does mostly replace raptusregalitur but not directly because he's been gone a really long time.
And, with that, it's the weekend and CT's fave time of the week where I welcome anyone and everyone to join us tomorrow night at the new Illusions for a St. Patrick's-themed 80s Rockfest. Wear your green, drink some green beer, and dance the night away with a little help from our temporarily green friend, the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull. Then, early Sunday morning, kenny cooks up some great green grub. See ya there and have a great weekend!!

Baseball television broadcaster Milo Hamilton was known exclusively for uttering the phrase "Holy Toledo!" every time the team for whom he was providing play by play for did something amazing or spectacular.
Even though the majority of his calls were made during his lengthy tenure with the Houston Astros and not the Toledo Mud Hens. In any case, I am taking my cow, the continually recovering Cajun Queen, my vast knowledge of professional wrestling, and my horse and buggy and we're all riding off into sunset. I have enjoyed playing the game, even when getting under the skin of WMC and vice versa, and hope each and every one of you find whatever peace, love, and happiness for which you search. I may stop by down the road to check in on old friends and throw in a Wrestlemania moment at the game for grins and giggles (just to cause a good old-fashioned head explosion).
The Rose City Ranch's doors are now closed for business. All pending reservations are being honored by our good friends at The Vermont Villa & Suites. Ask for the Connecticut Listener upon arrival, and tell him Rose sent ya.

A big family with several children came by band camp the other day to inquire about sending all the kids to the same summer session as it was important to keep them together.
Of course, we said yes, certainly regarding various extracurricular activities, but they'd be apart for parts of the day during the formal education parts of the schedule. They accepted. We look forward to seeing them around the Memorial Day move-in.

The surgery did not go as planned. Due to a medication I should have stopped taking, my blood pressure dropped half way through the procedure and surgery had to be stopped! We will try again later.! So onward with TFWG!
