Fantastic word game

"Caution: High Water" read the sign that young Johnny's distracted eyes missed, as he flew past it at 75 miles per hour, only seconds before he plowed his Volkswagen Jetta into the fast moving river that covered the road.

The fast moving river that covered the road (or fast-moving, as I and my grammar references prefer) was only trying to get to the other side.

Three demerits, rose.

The other side of the road is all the chicken wanted to see mere moments before he was mashed into the asphalt by a fast moving Volkswagen Jetta, driven by young Johnny who, himself, was en route to his own watery demise.

Put 'em on my tab, CT. I'm certain there'll be plenty more to come. If Ed ain't sticking around to keep you and the Shortcake busy, I guess I'll just have to pick up the slack to keep your office afloat.

Rose could have made a name for herself here at The Fantastic Word Game (or TFWG as some prefer), but unfortunately she didn't have access to the internet.

I noticed quite a bit of drama (almost like some infighting) a few posts back -- then some of the clues were mainly inside jokes to which an outsider would have a hard time replying to. So I backed off for a while waiting for things to cool off.

The masses have been consulted, and no one seems to recall any bickering that would've caused Ed so much stress that he felt he would need a breather.

In all actuality, Ed, even WMC and I have been playing well with each other recently. I even shipped those pulled pork sandwiches to his parent's crib, and they should be waiting for him when he gets back from DeSantisland.

Thanks, Lingustics Czar. There are but two loves in my life. The voodoo conjuring coon ass from Pineville, Louisiana, and a dairy cow that's originally from the -W Ranch.

I'd trade them both in for the Hope Diamond, though
. 🤫

Pizza is delicious for breakfast, dinner or lunch, and speaking of lunch, have you all checked out the new Fantastic Lunch Song Game here at RadioDiscussions.com yet?

Yet to come here at The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as some prefer) are many new and interesting clues with which to start a sentence.

I believe "are" (instead of "will be") is correct, as one would say "... that is yet to come."

"Get away from that new intern!" exclaimed Miss Silkie, once she had realized that the Linguistics Czar went and snuck into the new hire orientation with hopes and aspirations of finding himself some additional help.

The manufacture of the product is not to be confused with the manufacturer of the product, and this issue will no doubt be addressed by the Director of Linguistics. :)

About those demerits of mine...

The Director of Linguistics (Linguistics Czar, as ramblin' rednecks down here in these parts prefer) has his hands full with a ton of work left to do on his desk, and that likely includes the petite, blonde intern.
