Fantastic word game

For some reason, he felt the urge to refer to certain fast foods as "pink ooze," and now he's wondering when he is going to start receiving those letters telling him to cease and desist.:D

In addition to the pink ooze, what about the yellow blob inside a white blob that they call "eggs?"

Cease and desist letters wouldn't deter me in the least from telling Ronald, Grimace, the Hamburglar and even Mayor McCheese what they can do with their entire establishment.

With a Whataburger on nearly every corner down here, rednecks like me don't clown around with our food choices.

Their entire establishment over at that inferior band camp company attempted to steal some of our secrets but we got word of their hijinks well ahead of time and sent scanman and some of his crew to have a little chat with them.

Well done, security team, well done.

Hey guys, what time is it?? It's the weekend and time to relax and unwind. It's also time for another great 80s Rockfest. Dave and Kenny and I will be playing the best in 80s Rock plus your requests plus maybe a few things in advance of Memorial Day. Then, the following weekend, we'll have a full show dedicated to our friends in the Armed Forces. The Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull is oiled up and ready to go. And, speaking of oiled up, so is Kenny and he'll be cooking up some great stuff at Denny's early Sunday morning. We'll see you there and have a great weekend!!!

Westdale High was no surprise, considerimg he smoked on the devil's lettuce every single day.

You'd get blown out of your mind, too, if your parents had named you Westdale.

Every single day, I come here to the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as everyone who pays attention knows I prefer) to chat a bit and, after more than 17 years, I don't know what I would do without this place.

Kinda sad in a way. But someone needs to keep an eye on you guys. ;)

The social media is alive and well with all kinds of things people love and many things people should avoid.

The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) welcomes everyone. Just please remember to bold your clues, use one sentence and one sentence only, and leave the interns alone.

People should avoid standing behind Constance (or any other heifer or stud for that matter), with an ignited cigarette lighter in hand, just waiting for her to expel gas.

To expel gas from the mechanical bull, means you've just won the new Illusions little-known, but exceptionally fabulous door prize, a free late-night dinner for two at Denny's.

I suspect ol' kenny hasn't given away many free meals yet.

A free late-night dinner for two at Denny's was shared between a customer and the mooching cat patiently waiting at home in the window.

Patiently waiting at home in the window, Miss Phyllis expected Stuart to be home by midnight.

But ole Stuart missed that deadline and got home a couple hours later smelling of Grand Slams and strawberry jam. Sounds like Denny's got a little extra business.

"Be home by midnight!" exclaimed Kayla the Shortcake Intern (KSI, as you've now come to know that I prefer) to our resident Doctor of Wordanomics, but at last glance, the lights are out, someone has tagged the walls with indistinguishable messages written solely in Krylon spray paint, and the glass window next to his office door has been shattered.

8 days, folks (or 4 pages, if you prefer) since our Linguistics Czar has been on the FWG scene. He's been caught elsewhere, like the lunch line, but his PowerWorld gifted office looks completely abandoned, and it appears that a few urban explorers have already been through the area and documented the continued decay. Where are you, oh great and marvelous Director of Linguistics? Adjectives are running wild, hyphens are multiplying like rabbits, and I swear I saw a pronoun picking a fight with a comma late last night, while y'all were banging your heads to the sounds of 80's rock.

Scanman, could you send out a security member (or two) to track him down and find the bastard(s) who pillaged his office?

His office door has been shattered by unknown ruffians who were looking for books and materials regarding sentences, commas, and dangling participles.

According to CT's info, he last posted 8 days ago as you mentioned, rosecity. Although when I checked his particulars, he had just viewed some other thread on the website 5 minutes earlier. So he is around. Perhaps our DOL needs a breather from the game. It's understandable. Remember, both you and he took brief breathers several weeks back when you both claimed you were leaving the game. We shall leave him alone to do his personal thing. We'll clean up and board up his office door. I'll handle the demerits for now.

Books and materials regarding sentences, commas, and dangling participles sound like the perfect cure for insomnia, until you come to realize that his own dangling participle, paired with a few of those gummies for which he is known to sample daily, and the ever-demanding PBI that he's been enamored with since she showed up one day in his office, may be the cause of this particular long-term absence.

I'm telling you, WMC, Fantastic Word Game has stopped showing up on the "what's new" (lightning bolt icon, if you prefer) feature of the site. You may need to check in with the PowerWorld LLC executive team and find out why I have to go through my alerts to access new postings on the game. Maybe CT tired of your constant thwarting of his attempts at removal of the mechanical bull, this issue is of his doing, and he and Kayla are in hiding in some deep, candlelit cavern, inside of a long forgotten plot of land in the badlands of Vermont. I just don't know, but until it's rectified, you can pretty much retire your long-winded welcome spiel. No one new will be traveling up our dusty road.

This particular long-term absence is due to the executive team here at Radio Discussions making changes and (we hope) improvements to the website.

The PowerWorld executive and IT teams have nothing to do with this issue. It's all in the hands of RD. Hopefully, they don't make any changes to us. I'm reasonably sure we've been around longer than Radio Discussions itself or this incarnation of the boards so hopefully that accounts for something as they work through their changes. My long-winded yet world-famous Welcome spiel is in cold storage for now. If you ever have a burning need for it, let me know and I'll thaw it out.

The administration of Radio Discussions has been hard at work at the RD corporate offices so we've asked Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns to drop by with some goodies and tidbits to thank them.

I'm sure David, Lance, Scott and the rest of the team will appreciate it.
