In the future, CT, please pay more attention to contributions and contributors.

It was none other than myself who made that "anytime" contribution so the demerits should go to me and not our very own HOSS who merely copied what I wrote. I am rescinding those 3 demerits and sending 6 demerits to your basement broom closet office. You can work them off by cleaning up the band camp gardens over the weekend.

And, speaking of the weekend, welcome to it. Many of us experienced a heat wave this week so it's time to relax and shake your booty at another fantastic 80s Rockfest at the air-conditioned new Illusions tomorrow night with our perpetual special guest, the mechanical bull. Join us in person or via the huge PowerWorld livestream. Later on, join us at Denny's for some great grub. See ya there and have a fantastic weekend!!

Render valuable services at affordable prices, delivered by a team of extremely knowledgeable professionals, so customers will give you their return business and continue pouring in your front door.

Domino's once advised its consumers to "Avoid the Noid!", but The Cajun Queen and I went one step further and just avoided the entire establishment.

The entire establishment attempted to model itself after PowerWorld LLC but poor management and bad decision-making sent that company down the toilet.

Tank on any high school football season in East Texas, and you might find the citizens of the town represented standing in their square, toting pitchforks and torches, and calling for the hanging of the head coach.

That's only a partial exaggeration, folks.

The head coach of the New England Patriots, now 72 years old, stepped down some months ago and is currently dating a 24-year- old ex-cheerleader.

A 24-year-old ex-cheerleader, coincidentally, is also working in the Department of Linguistics for yours truly, despite her occasional infidelity.

First a cow, now a coach. She's insatiable!

Infidelity never played a role with the 100 year-old American World War II veteran and his 96 year old sweetheart of decades, who finally got married in Normandy, France this year, on the 80th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy, after all of the years they lived life to the fullest and took care of their families.

Their families, and all band camp families, will be here soon for the Band Camp July 4th Family Weekend (BCJ4FW as no one prefers).

"Grammar Rock" in my ears, a bite of the Cajun Queen's meatloaf in piquant sauce in my mouth, and an ice cold Miller Lite in my hand, has the rambling redneck ready to deliver today's Fantastic Word Game-sized helping of Southern hospitality.

A tip of the 10 gallon to y'all on this day of rest. Connie flicked her tail back and forth so y'all know she's alive and well.

My trips to sunny Florida stop short in Central Louisiana.

A Texas-sized redneck tip for y'all travelers. Before laying some rubber down between ETX and Cenla, always make a pre-run to the Terrell Buc-ee's, the night before, for brisket sandwiches, nuggets and such. Ain't been no beavers built in Louisiana, up to this juncture, but that's fixing to change next year with the opening of Buc-ee's Ruston.

Central Louisiana has the Red River running through it and lots of people dancing to "Red River Rock" by Johnny and The Hurricanes.
