Fantastic word game

As often as possible, I like to stop by here to make sure everyone is doing well and that the game is rolling along towards Post #50,000.

Just 2,115 contributions to go. And I've noticed (along with Lance Venta's update) that there is a new logo and such. Place is looking good. They even re-carpeted myy plush Game Czar office. Thanks Lance! And, very importantly, we are still here and, in Lance's site update, they are considering moving the In Memoriam board to Off The Air which is where we are located. I consider that a good thing because it hopefully means Off The Air and TFWG within that are staying. We'll have new neighbors but that possibly means new looky-loos and new users dropping in to test the sentence-writing waters. The story continues.

An IRS audit of TFWG would reveal a steep decline in today's activity.

Hello? Is everyone on vacation today? Was there an off-site seminar or company retreat that I missed? Even the library was closed when I walked by at lunchtime.

Canada Day is sort of Canada's birthday, when the British united three colonies into the British empire, not quite 100 years after America's birthday was something entirely different.

Something entirely different from the last few months is the inactivity here over the last day or so which I suspect is caused by people being on vacation in real life.

It is a holiday week so perhaps people have plans that do not include TFWG. Shocking as that may be! Not a real life vaca week for me though. Off Thursday but working the rest of the week.

Break out the champagne because CT has a couple of things in his contribution.

"Week for so", CT? Not paying attention this morning, are we? Hmmm? Also, you bolded 'reak' of 'break'. Perhaps a nap is in order for you this morning. Kayla keep you up all night?

scanman, I am also on vacation in real life next week. Just a staycation this time, no sunny Florida. Which means I'll be right here in my plush Game Czar office. ;)

A couple of things in his contribution could indicate the possible consumption of an excessive amount of adult beverages, but I don't want to be the one to make such an accusation.

To make such an accusation would be unfair and inaccurate, given that we all know that I am the gluttonous drunk, and he only fills his system with edible gummies.

If I thought the good Director was down for a session, I'd twist up some of that wicked devil's lettuce I've had sitting around and really blow his mind. We certainly don't dabble in the dirt weed at The RCM Ranch.

"He only fills his system with edible gummies" is an exaggeration, generally speaking.

And it's inapplicable, specifically, to the slip-ups at hand. What happened earlier today was my beginning of my sentence with the phrase "Week from now," followed by the realization that the All-Star break begins next Monday rather than next Tuesday. I then tried to add "or so" without my reading glasses on, resulting in a faulty insertion. Surely you fine gentlemen have dealt with faulty insertions at some time in your lives, right? That temporary visual impairment is also responsible for the bolding error on"break." Regardless, I am penalizing myself three demerits and would be opening the can of gummies right now were I not expected to drive in a couple of hours. I also have bought a new pair of readers.

Speaking of accusations and contributions, this, that and the other, I hope I never have to deal with having any of those hideous "gummies" from anybody, since we don't even keep them in the Fun Department.

Just saying that fun does not mean fuzzy wuzzy feel good terms because someone called them "gummies" as they thought it sounded real cute and all. As I said, hideous.

The Fun Department, apparently, has a lot in common with the shape of a Rubix Cube.

If gummies are where the line is drawn, I guess a couple joints of the devil's lettuce and a cooler full of Miller Lite would be totally out of the question.
