The new Illusions, back before the remodel when it was still just called Illusions, used to be a regular haunt for a former contributor, Marc, and his best friend who went by the name cockroach, but one day they just stopped showing up.

Showing up late for PowerWorld administrative meetings would earn offenders three demerits for each offense if we had a Director of Attendance.

Attendance was taken at the start of every class back when I was in school, and if you were not there, upon your return, you needed to have a note from your mother explaining your absence.

A note from your mother explaining your absence from school was usually due to illness, a death in the family, or horsing around with a sibling which ended up with a broken bone.

I may or may not have been horsing around with my younger brother in our back yard when I was around 10-ish which may or may not have involved giving him a piggyback ride which may or may not have resulted in us falling to the ground with him landing on my right hand which may or may not have broken my middle, ring and pinkie fingers. Yes, I'm right-handed.
