Fantastic word game

Time on the computer in your corner office (my plush Game Czar corner office as I prefer) certainly adds up and can become tiresome so I also like to spend time on the computer on the beaches of sunny Florida.

Speaking of which, just 9 days until I head south to those sunny beaches. I appreciate the reminder, dmargalotti, thanks! :)

The hot sun that warms our planet and makes life here possible will some day explode in a supernova resulting in a wave of cosmic radiation that will kill us all in a matter of minutes.

"Dead Air" is the working title for a thriller novel I am writing that involves an overnight disc jockey who is trying to fight off a murderous drug cartel that has overtaken his small Texas border town.

His small Texas border town was the setting of a sleepy locale, where nobody would suspect such goings on, but where people knew better than to see certain deals that routinely took place on the farmlands, surrounded by thickly wooded areas with its chirping birds and assorted wildlife.

Chirping birds and assorted wildlife abound deep in the Vermont forest where the body of the reclusive son of a billionaire is buried in my novel about his murder, "Dead Heir."

Heir to my Game Czar throne is unknown at this time because nobody has really stepped up to show any type of significant desire for the job.

The Labor Day Week band camp sessions start tomorrow and run through next Friday. The band campers are mostly moved in with just a few stragglers coming in tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone who helped out today.

And speaking of Labor Day, it's a long holiday weekend and time to relax and have some fun. Where better to do that than the new Illusions with the Denny's-sponsored mechanical bull and another 80s Rockfest. kenny, Dave and I will be playing the best in 80s Rock plus your requests. kenny will also be cooking up some great grub at Denny's early Sunday morning. Have a great weekend!!

gimmetheoldies, welcome to the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer). You have started in the right direction by bolding the previous ending clue and bolding your new ending clue. Well done. We hope you have a long and fruitful stay with us. Should you come back for more, I will give you my world famous welcome speech.

The water flowing down the hill is heading towards the local reservoir which desperately needs to be filled following a dry summer.

Guys, we have a new contributor, gimmetheoldies, who has contributed for the second time and no one aside from me has welcomed him. I am shocked and appalled that you, scanman, and you, CT, did not welcome him. Please welcome him aboard. That's what we do. He has already received the basic welcome from me. If he sticks around, I will give him my world famous TFWG welcome.

A dry summer is something you may find in Kansas, but in Florida the season is usually hot and humid.

Hot and humid are right up my alley although I expect it might be a tad more comfy in sunny Florida for my vacation starting a week from yesterday.

A week from yesterday begins my vacation in sunny Florida where I will be, at various times, relaxing, working on my tan, relaxing some more, and recruiting for the next class of lovely young library interns.

Thanks to all the volunteers who assisted with the weekend start for the band camp Labor Day week sessions.
