Fantastic word game

Tom Jones thinks 'It's Not Unusual' for him to be included in a TFWG clue except that I can't ever recall that happening.

I can't ever recall that happening because it never happened.

It never happened in your mind but it really did happen in real life even though I can't remember exactly when or why or how.

The rest of your day will proceed with the knowledge that, in the Catholic world, this is the one that memorializes All Saints.

I may be a little preoccupied today, and my apologies in advance. We're sorting out Connie's bountiful haul from last night.

Does anyone want all of this here candy corn?

Her intelligence is far superior to that, compadre, considering that this is Texas and we are neighbors with plenty of Mexicans.

¡Somos no estupidos, Señor!

The Rio Grande isn't what separates real Mexican food from the bland Tex-Mex mess that places like On The Border dishes up.

There's plenty of comida Mexicana autentico aqui. The separation actually lies between the hole in the wall dumps and the corporate chains down this a' way.

The current rate for one quart of non-homogeneous milk is one tallboy Miller Lite.

Available only at your local East Texas redneck ranch.

One tallboy Miller Lite is a no-go for me when dining at Gusanoz, the only Mexican eatery in these parts, where I usually order a Negro Modelo or that other well-known Mexican brew once endorsed by The Most Interesting Man in the World.

Sorry, amigo, trés demeritos for you for your subject/verb agreement misstep in #48.731 -- "dish up," not "dishes up," as the verb is connected to "places," not "On the Border."

The Most Interesting Man in the World wouldn't care less about your decision to subject us all to a grammar lesson.

:cry::oops::eek:🙀🤣🤣🤣

The error of our ways would be to not listen to CTListener and his daily musings of properly writing a sentence.

Now, Weiserguy, I think even TMIMITW (The Most Interesting Man In The World, as some prefer) would want to listen to CT. He is, after all, our Director of Linguistics and that is his job. He may occasionally overstep his bounds but does a fine job and had big shoes to fill even though that position had not been filled for several years.

And, now, it's Friday night and it's that time. Time for what, you may be asking? Why, it's time to welcome everyone to the weekend. And it's a weekend that is an hour longer due to setting the clocks back. So join us Saturday night at the new Illusions for a time-themed 80s Rockfest: Time after Time, Time of my Life, etc. And then we'll see you at Denny's for some great grub shortly after turning the clocks back. Have a great weekend!!

His daily musings of properly writing a sentence help all of us become better Fantastic Word Game players.

Shouldn't that boldfaced clue actually be "His daily musings on properly writing a sentence?"

Players of The Fantastic Word Game (known by some as simply TFWG) may have noticed that recent clues have featured famous people such as The Most Interesting Man In The World (or TMIMITW) and Tom Jones.
