Fantastic word game

More importantly, what's going on with quadraphonic facing death sober, when he could easily crack open a refreshingly smooth, thirst-quenching Miller Lite tallboy, and start the journey towards the casket by getting bombed?

It sure works for me, I'll tell you what.

Sport a 10 gallon hat, quadraphonic, before you go and drop anymore of that redneck lingo again.

I reckon you'd best just leave all of that there reckonin' to a real red dirt trudgin', backwoods dwellin' pro-fessional, partner.

That does not look like a complete, properly constructed, grammatically correct English-language sentence.

Will the Director of Linguistics issue any demerits?

A complete, properly constructed, grammatically correct English-language sentence is what your Director of Linguistics always tries to construct when he's not under the influence of his favorite gummies, but I've been slipping lately, as you've all seen, so I'll be putting demerits on hiatus.

On hiatus is CT's decision making so I'll remind everyone what we've done in the past regarding this type of issue which is to revert to the bolded ending clue in the most recent actual sentence before rosecity's subsmission, which is Post #49,632 with the ending clue of anthropomorphic, which was a problem to begin with, so it's a good thing I'm here to move us along with a much better clue to use.

We also use that rule when someone uses two sentences or doesn't bold a clue at all. I did that recently (forgot to bold an ending clue).

Notice, CT, I'm not acting czar-ish here. I'm just reminding people, or informing people, of what we can do in a particular situation. :)

A much better clue to use is the one where Professor Plum is involved.

Those were yer rules, WMC. Yer rules follered you right on out the cozy, plush, corner office door. Better pipe yerself on down, before I get all sinister and drop one of them there dreaded semicolons on you.

Professor Plum is involved in clue use so speak to him if you don't like it.

They were not my rules, rosecity, they were our rules. I didn't create them but I did help enforce them.

Like it or not, the word "were" is the key takeaway from WMC's latest offering.

Appropriately stated, WMC. No arguments, at all, from the Southern delegation.
