Fantastic word game

A choice needs to be made between using a shovel or snowblower or both to clear the driveway and sidewalks following the overnight snowstorm.

Hey, CT, how about you pop down here to help me dig out and then I'll pop up your way to help you after some future snowstorm. We can talk about TFWG (as I prefer) business and gossip and stuff. Wouldn't that be fun.

Grumpy was how I felt as well but those 6 inches or so of snow cleared out fairly quickly and easily.

Plus it's a blistering 22 degrees and sunny so that helped out.

Sitting at my computer terminal, I'm typing my next contribution to The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as most prefer).

My next contribution to The Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as most prefer) is right here following Ed's excellent well-written sentence.

Ed's excellent well-written sentence was followed by one that reveals WMC's utter exhaustion from excessive shoveling.

Around here, only about an inch of light, fluffy snow fell, requiring little shoveling at all.

Here, of course, being Vermont and not my former home state of Connecticut. Winter 2024-25 continues its strange pattern in Northern New England. Plenty of cold, very little snow.

One station I heard this past weekend had some guy yelling about sports on a Sunday morning.

Simmer down little radio man, people don't want to be yelled at, especially on a Sunday morning!

Sunday morning, and every morning for that matter, I look forward to dmargalotti's Early Morning Contribution (EMC as most prefer).

Good morning.

dmargalotti's Early Morning Contribution (EMC as most prefer) is brought to you by Blockbuster, Toys "R" Us, Circuit City, Pontiac Automobiles, Payless Shoes, Ames Department Stores, Kodak, Radio Shack, Compaq Computers, and Pan American World Airlines (Pan Am as most prefer).

Blockbuster, Toys "R" Us, Circuit City, Pontiac Automobiles, Payless Shoes, Ames Department Stores, Kodak, Radio Shack, Compaq Computers, and Pan American World Airlines (Pan Am as most prefer) may be sponsoring the revolution, but the revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be televised, however, the story is being covered, in its entirety, by a single radio broadcaster who'll continually monitor the situation from start to finish.

Start to finish your submission just as I'm beginning to compose mine, as a certain redneck just did, and you'll hear a string of curse words from me that will singe your ears.

Your ears may have been burning earlier, when I was having a conversation (via Gummi-Vision teleconferencing) with the Petite Blonde Intern.

The Petite Blonde Intern is no fan of mine but that's ok because all of the lovely young library interns and I are still on good terms.

In fact, a bunch of them stopped by my cozy-but-not-plush-or-corner home office to drop off some tasty tidbits. A nice note from Miss Silkie was included. Thanks Miss Silkie!

Good terms could have been negotiated between the former Game Czar and the resident, ramblin' redneck, leading us to the creation of an agriculture wing in the PowerWorld headquarters.

Just think of how popular you coulda been with the interns, especially Kayla, if you'd have allowed them lil' ladies critters to play with during breaks n' such. Or a penned-in exhibition next to the wooden deck out in the back patio area of illusions. Y'know, for patrons to pet, ride, hug, snap pictures with n' whatnot.

Missed opportunities, I'll tell you what, and now we're both Fantastically unemployed over it. 🤷
