Fantastic word game

A future that would include the internet, message boards, and the world's longest running word game is something that people could only dream of way back in the day.

Originality (O-riginality, as rednecks tend to prefer), er the lack thereof, is exactly what led a regular ol' hard-workin', hard-livin' drunkard from East Texas to create a character that would bring a lil' chaos n' sweep the Fantastic status quo right into the gutter.

Some folks were humored by it, others...not so much.

Did that rascal up yonder just refer to Miss Silkie n' her o-riginal staff "Little old ladies"??? I reckon Sweetie Pie wudn't take too kindly to that.

Wankel rotary engine components are still used by a few car manufacturers, but the problem with 'em, n' the reputation that pro-ceeds 'em, is that they are a little gassy.

Here's my favorite not-so-well named product fer all the other sinners 'round here to ponder.

A little gassy (and maybe even a little nauseous) is how some people feel after eating at Taco Bell.

Taco Bell, a place that I have never been to, serves breakfast and when I see people pulling into the lot early in the morning, I often feel the need to stop the car so I can pray for them.

I can pray for them to let coupons good for burritos or quesadillas slip out of their wallets while they fumble for bills or a debit card.

I prey on mistakes like that!

Removing demerits from your permanent record can only be achieved by bribing the right people with a hefty sum of cash, to be delivered to a secret location.

A secret location that I know all too well, n' if'n I may suggest a good 'un, is parts unknown.

Quite a few seedy characters have called the place home, though, so beware.

Um... Linguistics Czar. Are you two up there just a screwin' with us lower-edumicated types, er is #51,910 'posta be comma-free? I ran outta breath readin' it.

No, sir, I did not. I said that's how the original Tasty Tidbits was born. How it is now is completely different. Kind of how TFWG was born. It wasn't even TFWG to start. And, now, sadly, it's becoming slightly something else. If you know what I mean. And I think you do.

Parts unknown is where all former contributors end up when they leave here to rejoin civilization.

Civilization will look back on this here 3-year "dark period" o' Fantastic Word Game as a case study on the workin' relationship between an alpha and a beta.

If'n you know what I mean, and I think you do. 😉

An alpha and a beta (α and β for those in the know) will get you started with the Greek alphabet, but as you go through it, you will probably begin to get hungry when you realize that pi (π for those in the know) makes you crave a big piece of pie.

The bin was full of material to be recycled, just waiting for somebody to empty the recycle bin.

If that piece of pie happened to be a pizza pie, here's how you deal with it:

"Your demerit box runneth over," thou sayest unto me, so I say unto thee, sir, "On what grounds?"

I don't believe I have committed any crimes to merit a demerit.
