Apparently, the loneliness of being without a date for Valentine's day was enough to overide the memory of last year's public humiliation. If you recall, about this time in 2008, the Chris Vernon show tried to hook up his producer (Jon Roser) with a hottie on February 14. Three attractive young ladies were selected. Their pics were posted on their web site and listeners voted for a winner. In successive order, all three ended up bailing on him, and Roser went on the station paid for date all alone.
You would think that being rejected thrice for a radio station sponsored Valentine's contest would be enough embarrassment for one lifetime. But no, "A Single Roser 2" was announced on 730 Fox Sports just the other day. This time they are trying to run the contest a little more "under the radar" just in case lightening strikes twice. At least this time they were bright enough not to post Roser's picture.
