Fareed Zakaria MIA

Very disillusioning. I've always liked Zakaria, but have lost some respect for him. Incredibly bad judgment. He obviously copied and pasted Lapore's paragraphs, and made some minor wording changes to cover it up. Why not just quote Lapore directly and attribute it to her? In his high-profile position, it would have been a miracle if this hadn't come to light.

Anybody who attended college (or high school, for that matter) probably wrote term papers by at least partially plagiarizing somebody else's book or article. That's wrong...though I confess that I did it a few times. Nevertheless, that's writing that will never see the light of day, beyond the professor's reading. This is more serious.

Instead of MIA one might as well write GFG (Gone for Good.)

I highly doubt that CNN will allow Zakaria to return to his Sunday morning show after this.

guess he was not paying attention that day back in Junior High when we were all taught
that this is a no-no.

Copying from one source = Plagerism.
Copying from 2 or more sources = Research. ;)

Well, CNN did hire Eliot Spitzer after that prostitution sting, so of course they're going to keep Fareed on the payroll...
