Farewell to GG

I posted this in 'Vermont' - but noticed more people seem to visit here...

I learned this morning that GG Griggs, the morning DJ for 102.3 WLFE in St Albans passed away last night. I had the pleasure of working with him and hearing some of the great stories he had about how he got into radio, musicians he played with and just about life in general. I'll definitely remember the gifts he gave us like North Country Friday Nights where he put the spotlight on some great local and national musicians.

He will surely be missed.

When was he at WLFE? I had a friend that worked for WLFE in early 2000s. Actually, we were both @ Northeastern at that time.

I am so sorry to hear that. GG was such a great guy. A horrible loss for the radio community. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends

I have been temporarily asked to fill GG’s boots. May his spirit help guide me in the continuation of his work

Louie
